Neither this nor that At the end of last year, a series was released about a famous character from the Star Wars universe - Bob Fet. He was very coolly pushed at the end of season 2 of the Mandalorian, but, unfortunately, the series itself did not become as cool.
I am not a fan and I know the history of the universe by tangent.
I was just bored watching it. Most people who have watched say the main problem is the main actor, because he is not an actor at all, but a stuntman. And this, of course, is noticeable, he walks the whole series with the same facial expression and you can see how hard it is for him when he tries to smile or raise his eyebrows with surprise.
But for me, that's not the main problem, but the fact that Bob Fet's book is just no story. First of all, it’s completely unclear why I should start empathizing with this character, he has a certain path in which he changes, but he doesn’t catch on (perhaps it’s the acting, I’m not sure). And, secondly, the events that occur do not seem at all significant. We are told that the fate of the whole planet depends on it, but in reality it is not felt.
And another problem is that the fights here look (I’m sure it’s intentional) like the original trilogy, but now it looks ridiculous. They are simply boring and undynamic.
I really liked only one episode (namely 4) because it’s entirely about Mandalorian and looks like a full-length series from his series, and Boba Fet isn’t there at all.
