I spent four days on the series - I watched 4 episodes daily. And for the first time, I don’t have a clear answer to the question: did I like the show or not? On the one hand, there is a story about a former police officer who quite rightly decided to deal with his abusers with his own methods. And Alexander Ustyugov, who I never liked, coped with the task at all. He managed to play a hero who was broken by life and circumstances (mustache and glasses completed his image). On the other hand, I have many questions to the writer or rather to the writers – there were two of them: the director of the series Denis Karyshev and Alexander Turbin. I don’t know both of them, so I can’t say anything about them. But one thing is clear to me - they don't know the criminal world well. Otherwise, they would not have invited to the second most important role of the Kaiser actor, with the appearance of an “excellent” – Evgeny Antropov. And to believe that this guy is a creature of Hell is very difficult. I would even agree with Dmitry Ulyanov, the paralyzed father of the Kaiser, playing this role. He has what is called charisma, but Yevgeny Antropov does not. There is another story in the series that I found implausible. Kaiser’s “boys” took a local mobster and his wife, who had exactly one guard, whom they safely killed. I don't think it's serious, nor is it that the company has been living in the house for a long time and no one has tried to come and visit the owners. In short, with "Killer" everything is difficult.
