In Egypt, the main sheikh dies from the disease. The government is concerned that the right candidate is elected. All candidates teach at a Muslim university in Cairo. There are representatives of different political directions within the university. To successfully carry out the operation, the special services created a network of informants in the university. One of them was a simple son of a fisherman, admitted to the university for good success in his studies at a provincial school. As it turned out, there were no special services. The guy is recruited as a whistleblower, and over time he realizes that people like him are alive from these networks.
Despite the very slow development of events, the film constantly keeps the interest of the viewer. It's the writer's work. The neutral viewer is interested in the specifics of Arab culture and life in Cairo. It is well shown how students live in a theological university, the learning process, their rest, and all this in the form of short episodes that do not tire the viewer.
I liked the movie.
