Well, it was worth it because of the scene where Roman Kurtsyn, dressed in a wedding dress, walks to the car.
“The Maldives Can Wait” is a comedy, of course, but quite normal and even funny in some moments.
Of the pluses, I would note a good cast, a normal plot and cheerful, albeit slightly vulgar jokes.
Of the cons, I would note the cheapness of shooting, the tightness of the tape (although it lasts only 88 minutes), as well as such a soundtrack.
I have nothing against the song of Yegor Creed, I also have no questions about some songs, but there is one.
It took 6 years as the song “Pink wine” came out, and Russian filmmakers still use it in their films. I think this song is outdated and it was kind of weird to hear it in the 2023 movie.
In general, I think that the film “The Maldives Can Wait” will brighten up your evening well, you can watch it with the second half under champagne.
If you want, you can go to the cinema to see it, but I think it’s best to watch it when it comes out in good quality.
If you don’t watch it, you won’t lose anything!
I don’t think that the film is a masterpiece, and I won’t add it to my favorite, but it will do for once.
My score is 7 out of 10 and I suggest you look at it once.
