Review of the Three Bodies Task (San Ti) anime.
No one will read this review... But they can read it! So I’ll write, and then let it weigh in quantum superposition (this is not the only explanation, but the most public).

Okay.
Although the series is called “Three Bodies Task”, it will be more correct to call it “Dark Forest”, because it is based on the 2nd book of the cycle.
For this very "By Motivation", as well as for the 3-dimensional graphics, fans slapped the series with low ratings. Which is absolutely not deserved, because the animation here is good, and the plot ... Let's just say the problem isn't that he's motivated.
Well, what's the difference? It's all sorts of stuff.
1) more emphasis on romance (the whole middle of the series, Luo Ji (the main character) is entertained and romantic assistant,
(2) the detached do not sleep in the same way as in the book, because of which some of their actions are not shown,
(3) The plan of the detached Frederick Tyler is changed.
I'll start with the last one. .
No! He's not fucking changed!
First, here is a reference to the 0th part of the cycle, the background, the book "Ball lightning".
Second, let a new detail be added, but the plan remains the same. What’s more, this plan becomes more complex with an additional level of deception. What is much better than his naive-fairytale attempts from the book.
In addition, thanks to this addition, the series still appears Scientific Fiction, not only an action movie with a political thriller. Through experiments on the “megaelectron”, some quantum effects were told. Ancient as the shit of mammoths, but still. *** (again, I will tell you more in the comments).
In general, this part of the series does not spoil.
Now item 2.
How can I talk about it without revealing the story?
In short, this season just decided not to burden the destruction of the plans of other detached. I've read the book and I know that their turning points can be built into the world of the future. This is likely to be the case, as hints of their book plans are given.
And point #1 on the excess of romance.
Romance isn't bad in itself. And it was necessary to show that Luo Ji really does not want to do anything to save humanity. The problem is that the other characters are doing almost nothing at this time.
Let's move on to the downsides of the series.
Destroyer 1. Tightness.
Detached only appeared in the 3rd series. Destroyers are only in 5th. The way Taylor works on her plan is only in 7th (the same girl appears). And his “battle” with the destroyer lasts as much as 3 series (from 9 to 11), although there is nothing to show, and therefore the animators draw the clouds of the technical room. It's a good thing that they put 12-15 episodes at the end, because people would forget what all the fuss was about.
Chronologically, Episode 11 is the end of the series, but Episode 12-15 specifically shows how the station collapsed and how Luo Ji escaped from it.
Destroyer 2. Paphosity.
Everything was normal in the book. People talk, discuss theories, look at technology. It's too tedious for the film adaptation - did they want Tarkovsky? Therefore, the animators added entertainment ... Yeah.
In some places, this is appropriate. For example, episodes 12-15, in which Luo Ji struggles with death, are potentially more interesting than the events of the book, where he fell under the ice.
But the virtual gathering of the Trisolarian sect of witnesses is a pont for the sake of pontiffs. Instead of simple avatars, some freaks. Instead of hanging in the air or an empty room – a huge hall overlooking space. Instead of hanging the star over the chosen destroyer, they are beautifully pierced with swords because of which they wriggle in agony. And this clown lasts half of the series.
Destroyer 3. Poor physics.
This is actually a continuation of the previous paragraph. But if there the entertainment only lengthened the viewing time and moved away from the book, here it sacrificed the laws of physics. And this is almost a death sentence for a series in the NF genre.
In the 1st series, where physicists turn on colliders to trick sophones (enemy robots that can influence the microcosm). Just turn on, look at the colored lights and take a heavy breath – it seemed boring to the Chinese. Therefore, everything around began to spark and explode, the commander shouting: "Faster!" - forces the energy indicators to go over 120%, and assistants press the buttons and rotate the valves lead the particles to the desired point.
The 9th series is almost the same, but in a smaller form.
In the 7th series, where the megaelectron hits the wall, the action takes place in some hangar, not a scientific test site.
But the worst of the 12-15 series. Oh, it's darkness. Quantum interaction is often compared to magic, but at least in science fiction you could do without it. It works magically on people, but it doesn’t work on everything else. And even in such a strange illogical way, where extras are immediately dead, and the main character is always chosen. But it's still spectacular, yes.
Well, what's the big deal?
The screenplay respects the source material, so the plot and characters were not affected.
Spectacularity somewhere went for good, and somewhere in the negative.
Social and science fiction is rarely filmed (yes, it is written, to be honest), so it is better to close your eyes to nonsense and pseudoscientific conversations and enjoy the main plot.

Chinese series that I recommend to watch:
- Network of Swords: The Noble Knightly Soul
- Our older brother has a head problem.
- Records of the Taoist sword of rain and wind
- Are you okay? (in fact, the title should be "There is a way out!" - how bombards from undertranslators, most of the "Three Bodies Task" was generally translated in profusely, and then this nonsense was read).
