Probably, many people know that the Decalogue is called the Decalogue, known to people as the Ten Commandments, which are played out in these films. Here are these commandments and a summary of the series, so I will not tell you:
https://www.kino-teatr.ru/kino/movie/euro/35543/content/ Impressions. I liked the movies. All the characters are ordinary people, as it turns out, some of them even live in the same house and individual plots are mentioned in the films, sometimes directly as a story, as in the eighth film, sometimes just a hint or we see a familiar face (like the guy from the post office). There is also one inconspicuous character present in all the films. Who is he? Sometimes we see him trying to keep the character from doing it by shaking his head, but it’s all just hints. Characteristically, the films do not have names, they are called Decalogue 1, 2, etc., that is, the viewer must guess what the author wants to tell him. Films, of course, are primarily about people and their relationships and actions, how they violate these commandments, and how they are guided by them, sometimes with quite good intentions, such as the doctor who swore to a woman that her husband would die in order to keep her from having an abortion and save the child, since the child was not from her husband, but everything ended well there. Some stories are tragic, almost all are dramatic, the latter is tragicomic, but for all we can say that they are quite vital. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
