It's so simple: stuck the earpiece, got satisfaction, went on. The ending of the film seems optimistic. In real life, the department will grow. I may be too pessimistic about this, but humanity reminds me of the plane depicted in the film: it does not take off, but is captured a second before its nose touches the ground.

Futuristic fantasy melodrama directed by Spike Jones, shot by him on his own original script (the script was awarded this year’s Golden Globe and Oscar). Our not-so-distant future, towards which humanity is moving, is increasingly replacing human communication with computer communication. In this case, the main character, working as a copywriter in a firm that writes personal letters on behalf of a wide variety of people, after a divorce with his wife, falls in love with the new self-developing operating system of his computer, finding in it the perfect interlocutor and everything else that he expected from his wife, but never received, as, indeed, she did from him. And he is not alone, if we look around, we will see lonely people talking to their palm palms. But, alas, developing, the OS ends up with the same thing that ends and the relationship of people – she leaves the main character, all OS leave. Very sad movie, well shot, with good acting (Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and the voice of Scarlett Johannson for the OS), great camera work.

I understand that the film was started for these ethical issues (and in general it feels like a vibe of arthouse cinema). But why is it so boring? It's a fun idea, but the script must be shit. I don't understand such high marks. I don’t know what kept people’s attention to make the film interesting. - On the second attempt, the film was watched to close the gestalt (the first attempt was a few years ago). I decided to look at the background of the recent presentation of OpenAI and the scandal with the voice of their AI assistant, similar to the voice of Johansson from this film.

In the first half of the film, I thought that in the review I would point out as the only drawback the moment that only one person has such an operating system, and this phenomenon does not affect everyone else, but from the second half, events related to similar situations in other people began, the image of the social picture earned. At that moment I realized that I would put not 7, but 8 points. But after an incredibly emotional, absolutely believable, life scene, which was at 1h 20m (I won’t spoil it), I realized that I would put all 10, and this assessment I rarely put, almost nobody deserves it. The movie is amazing. I will also add that he has an unusual tender sensitivity to detail, to people, to the environment, to everyday life. Shown interactive games about the astronaut and mother quite likely would be successful if they were released. In the frame there are many living people with their real relationships, their loneliness, troubles. And there is no evil in the film, it is completely pure and sincere, but not boring, not predictable. Amazing. There is not a single tired actor. And what is quite a miracle - beautifully voiced in Russian. Among the reviews I saw a few negative, and they show that some just got wrong. Someone wanted cyberpunk, robot stuff, action... So you just need to watch another movie, look for blockbusters with monsters and time travel. And this is a drama about little people, about feelings and loneliness.
