I watched the film by Asia Argento, who decided some time ago, following the example of her father, to direct, which in the Russian box office for some reason was called “Understand Me If You Can”, 2014, which absolutely evokes associations with the famous film of a completely different topic. In Italian it is called "Incompresa" - "misunderstood". The story of a teenage girl growing up in a very unusual creative family, the case takes place somewhere in the 80s. The family has three sisters from different marriages of their parents - representatives of the bohemian, mother (S.Gensbourg) - a pianist, distinguished by extreme freedom of morals, father - a narcissistic actor (Gabriel Garco), obsessed with all sorts of signs, the main character - the youngest of the sisters, who experiences the period of growing up a little differently from her sisters. She feels no one needed and in the end for self-affirmation goes into all serious, which is not surprising, she got it, first of all, from her mother. It doesn't end well. I read that the film, apparently, for Asia Argento is somewhat autobiographical. You really feel for the girl. A. Argento did not show herself in this film as an outstanding director, but the theme of the film and the sincere lead singer Julia Salerno do not leave the viewer indifferent.
