The continuation of the story about the struggle of people with an alien insect evil was performed in a completely different style from the original Ganbuster. In Dybuster, all the signature gags of the Gaynaxes are already much brighter. A lot of nuances and references from / on FLCL. At first it's discouraging and it makes you feel cheated, but then you get sucked in - it's done coolly, but in a very different way. And how they linked the story to Ganbuster is my respect.
