Rethinking the sketch from the very end of the last century reveals the communication of cats with their families from the other side.
Here the cat lives in the family, grows, develops and changes with it. As well as the previous one, this story is from Makoto Shinkai, so the cat’s habits are conveyed realistically in minute detail.
Very cool and touching work. And since Shinkai seems to be a lover of quelling tears and playing on emotions, even with me, he did it.
In four short episodes (about half an hour in total), Shinkai manages to talk about growing up, memories of childhood, relationships with parents, ambition, encounter with reality and, of course, about the difficult and changeable relationship of the hostess with her cat. It's all from the cat's point of view.
Careful: This story has a very strong emotional charge.
