Shyamallan’s attempt to tell a story about a maniac with reproduced personalities failed.
In the film, there are a lot of blunders, the characters sometimes dull and do not notice each other, do not run when they can and run when they cannot. And all of that — it seems that without all these tricks, the empty script is a little hard to get moving.
Very strange accents, a lot of time is devoted to the trauma of one of the abducted girls, while the trauma itself is very weakly combined with the madness happening around her.
The actor was weak enough to play 23 personalities that randomly switch. Was it accidental? Each of them has their own locker, and some even have their own room. Everyone knows each other, but the main person does not remember the last few years.
Well, in the end, a card is played with a very controversial theory about the huge difference in the abilities of individuals, well, only the biochemistry of the blood changes (the hormonal system can twist anything), but superpowers that seem to be introduced into the film are already beyond the scope.
In the final scenes, the heroine with flashbacks receives a hint of the development of her story. Why she was added to the film is a mystery to me, could have spent more time with a maniac with deviations.
Some kind of thrash.
