You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.
In 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer genius Mark Zuckerberg begins work on a new concept that eventually turns into the global social network known as Facebook. Six years later, he is one of the youngest billionaires ever, but Zuckerberg finds that his unprecedented success leads to both personal and legal complications when he ends up on the receiving end of two lawsuits, one involving his former friend.

There are also about the mistakes of youth, and about feelings, and about business, and about whether higher education is really so valuable nowadays and whether it is only there that you can get the necessary skills for work. Anyway, movie fire. I’ve seen it three times and I’ll definitely watch it again. But I work in IT, and in general, I love movies on this topic.

I got into wealth - I forgot brotherhood. After hearing and reading the positive reviews of friends for the film “Social Network”, I decided to watch this film, although at the time (however, as now) not very friends with Facebook. I did not expect anything supernatural from the film, I knew that it was neither comedy nor action, but a quite cute genre - drama. But gradually, penetrating into the intricate network of relationships between the characters of the film, you realize that the definition of “drama” is very narrow. You can't even explain it. This, of course, is a great merit of the director: to make a movie so that it seems as if you yourself are experiencing all these moments of someone else’s life. Ordinary people living far from the world of huge money, with a house-work (study)-house routine, the plot will seem unreal, fictional. We are all used to the fact that our lives are not movies. It's simpler. 95% of the world's population. The other 5% of films are made. Honestly, after the beginning of the viewing, exactly such thoughts arose in my head. But the story began to gain momentum, and I completely immersed myself in the social network. I have to say a huge thank you to the writers, the composition of the film is kept exactly as it should be. There's not a word or movement. Everything is very precise and precise. In the success of the film, the efforts of the actors play a big role. Jesse Eisenberg is very good in this role. Throughout the films, I had different feelings for his character, from the desire to hit the head to the banal “hug and regret”. Most importantly, I forgot that he was an actor. The most difficult thing in this profession is to get used to your character. But Jesse did it perfectly. Not to mention Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake. They certainly did a good job. And given that Justin is not an actor (he still sings, eh?), it's a huge step forward for him. But something was missing. Whether screen time to fully reveal the image of your character (albeit much more), or simply not laid out to the end. Unfortunately, the other actors were more of a background. But we can note a wonderful game Armie Hammer, which, literally, laid out for two. David Fincher. The music in the movie is just gorgeous. Calm, but at the same time dangerous and aggressive, she keeps the whole movie in suspense. Great work Trend Reznor and Atticus Ross. The film won an Oscar for best soundtrack. Tip: do not watch after a comedy (better instead), after a heavy film (otherwise do not watch). 9 out of 10 Original

Peace or prison? I watched very few films of 2010, for the simple reason that modern cinema disappoints me at an incredible pace. Every year, the films get worse and worse, there are fewer and fewer worthy films, the soul, the spark, everything that should be in the film disappears from them, and what was in them at least in the 90s, but now almost lost. Well, this movie is a good exception. What is the exception? The film tells the story of the creation of one of the most popular social networks on the Internet - Facebook. The resounding success of this network among users around the world forever changed the lives of fellow students of Harvard University, who founded it in 2004 and in a few years became the youngest multimillionaires in the United States. The film takes place in two parallels in the present and in the past. The present is a trial that is being held against Mark Zuckerberg on two lawsuits at once, the Winkelvoss brothers from whom he allegedly stole the idea and his best friend Eduardo Saverin. But, in fact, the film is not in this at all, although a fairly long part of the film takes place during this process. It is significant that he never comes to anything. After all, the main thing in the film is, in fact, the fate of one individual person. Mark was very smart, because of some pride and directness, he never found a common language with girls, although it seems always very much wanted, and then one day when he broke up with another girl because of his boorish behavior, then drunk he made it so that the Harvard server flew. After that, they were interested in the Winkelvoss brothers. The film is based on a very subtle connection of Mark with the outside world. His life balances between the real world and the fictional world of Facebook, which he created not for profit, not for the people, but to satisfy his spiritual needs. As one of the film’s characters put it, “Harvard students won’t look for jobs, they’ll create them.” Same principle with Mark. He didn’t look for himself in the world, he just created his own world, so that he would have lots of friends and feel so comfortable. The main thing in the film is not the money that the main character received after the creation of Facebook and not in general the historical process as a whole, but the fate of a person as if it did not sound banal. The fate of a person is a very common topic in cinema, but this film very relevant posed the problem of modern Internet reality. On the subject of whether Facebook is a new world or a prison can be argued for a long time. On the one hand, it is great to communicate with people at a distance, which is very convenient in many situations, but on the other hand, this thing locks a person in himself. And the point is not in the expression has already become winged: “I went for 5 minutes, stayed for 2 hours”, the fact is that many people like this, in something real, in something fictional world much more than the real, and this in no case should not happen, and God forbid the words of one of the characters of the film: “First we lived in villages, now in cities, and soon we will live on the Internet.” The film also has good acting. Of course, I would give Jesse Eisenberg an Oscar. Of course I was! Like any potential Oscar winner, the film should be relevant, reflect some trends in the modern world, why it should win the hearts of millions of viewers. He should be something close, something familiar to everyone, then he will have a resounding success, both in awards and rental, if it is not some kind of action movie. Well, I haven’t seen a movie in a long time that so clearly reflects the existing reality, or rather the Internet reality. When you see how many people are obsessed with Facebook, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and so on, and when you yourself realize that you are also in something the same, you involuntarily think, what if in a decade I will not see a single person on the street? For three years after being forced from office, Nixon remained silent. But in summer 1977, the steely, cunning former commander-in-chief agreed to sit for one all-inclusive interview to confront the questions of his time in office and the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. Nixon surprised everyone in selecting Frost as his televised confessor, intending to easily outfox the breezy British showman and secure a place in the hearts and minds of Americans. Likewise, Frost's team harboured doubts about their boss's ability to hold his own. But as the cameras rolled, a charged battle of wits resulted. close
