Election day in Iraq. A young agitator is sent to the island with an urn to organize voting. She must be accompanied by a local border guard in a jeep to travel around the island. The soldier is a conscientious serviceman, and she is a conscientious performer. Because of this good faith there is conflict. The film is qualified as a comedy. And perhaps for Iraqis it is, but for European viewers it is more an opportunity to get acquainted with the lives of ordinary Iraqi citizens on a godforsaken island, a remote province where not everyone is literate and does not speak Farsi. The situation of women is portrayed in a comical way. I enjoyed watching it despite the length of the story.
