Orson Welles made a film about Falstaff - a wandering character in Shakespearean historical plays, a reveler and an old whore who has influence over the heir to the throne of Henry V.
The problem here is mainly in the Russian version. The film consists of numerous Shakespearean quotes mixed with the work of Wells himself. But, in Russian, it is several authors with their own styles and such a language streakbear significantly complicates the perception of the film. Yeah, it's a pretty archaic language. As a result, watching it is quite difficult, if not boring.
