A movie like a clip. Hero types are hypertrophied. Their actions are vivid, but absurd.
Spectacularity is great. There is no meaningful load.
The main character is a narcissist and a drug addict.
His kind of girlfriend is a psychopath.
Strange review of the movie.
In the end, Max finds himself.
No, he does not find himself, and because of his drug addiction and narcissism, he loses a friend and a source of money. But he still doesn't understand why. And nothing in his life changes. He wants to date the same psychopath, use drugs and despise all people.
"The people around him suddenly appear stupid and fake."
This is the diagnostic criterion for a narcissist.
He's a typical narcissist - he works hard, achieves a lot and despises those who don't.
"spending time in endless glamorous parties, the hero comes to the fact that his life becomes empty and completely loses meaning."
Nope. He's more than happy. Because it's as empty as the other visitors to those parties. There is nothing else in his life. He's not interested in anything. Except drugs, sex, partying and money. And as a typical narcissist, he's not happy with himself. But this is a consequence of his mental illness, nothing more.
