Parents The common phrase “comedy with Adam Sandler” recently goes far beyond the existing family associations. Sandler finally outgrown children's comedies and annoying similar romcoms, stopped making an innocent face, playing the lucky Gilmour in every second picture, and finally fell into a crazy relaxation of the level of the wonderful "Classmates", but this time even crazier, even cooler and finally with the rating of R!
If “Zohan” was more of an experiment, and “Classmates” is still a star cabbage, then “Daddy Dosvidos” is a real benefit of Sandler, breaking off to the full with the cult cry of “Wassup!” (the episode from “Scary Movie” also receives a magnificent homage in this comedy). Perhaps Sandler's best role of his career. A real breakaway, no censorship, and all the fun!
Chic jokes comedy just kills, there is literally everything that will make you laugh and laugh, humor of different formats, ranging from the percentage of payments Vanilla Isu for the famous hit, and ending with something wildly vulgar and even vile. Comedy sometimes really goes overboard, especially in scenes with allegedly "burning" grandmother. But for the most part, humorous attacks from the screen hit exactly the target!
Many successful scenes will be remembered, especially the final denouement or, for example, a running fat man in a marathon. But the main advantage of comedy is that it is incredibly old-school, saturated with chic music like “Kiss”, the spirit of the nineties and eighties, old TV shows, the style of that wonderful time.
Nothing is required of the rest of us in general. Andy Samberg plays off the offended son, not proud of his true name Han Solo and the once doubtful-famous daddy, Leighton Meester just smiles sweetly, playing the beauty, Milo Ventimiglia somewhere tries to pull the blanket on himself (in this case - in a figurative sense), making himself the most stupid and funny character of the film, but none of the gathered can steal from Sandler the film. Not pegged Peggy Stewart, not brutal boxer priest James Caan, not anyone else.
The first half of the film is strewn with jokes just to the end, you do not have to get bored at all, and on the screen different characters led by Sandler are annealed every now and then. All this is very brisk, but for the screenwriter Sean Anders - this is only the third directorial experience, but directly for David Caspe - the screenwriter of the film, and all the debut in the big movie. In the second half, the degree of laughter is very reduced, smeared on timekeeping with bright waves, but not a continuous sea of pleasure. But it is here that there will be a bachelor party, and boobs, and a stained bride's dress, and raising important family values, and learning to ride a stolen girl's bike of a tall boob, and, of course, an incredible culmination with graceful twists.
Of course, not without flaws, improbabilities and not without plot holes, but even with sometimes outgoing humor, the film turned out grandiose! Although it is very strange how such an avid rocker as Sandler's character is considered the best friend of rapper Vanilla Ice, and how in such a caustic and satirical manner the topic of incest is played out. Well, far-fetched morality, in the end, does not turn into cynicism, but develops into a mandatory happy ending. What parents, like children. And mutual understanding is very important.
The comedy was successful, but all those who expect something “branded from Sandler” will be disappointed to spit with vulgarity, blush with madness, and do not understand how Adam Sandler, mired in all sorts of “Big Dads” and “Gilmores”, reached such a vulgar and wild, but fans of such paintings, in the spirit of “Very Bad Teacher”, should remain completely delighted! Truly killer and funny, incredibly old-school creation with the best movie image of Adam Sandler in his filmography! Wasssuuup!
