Oleg Stanislavovich Ryaskov was born on May 31, 1961 in the capital of Russia, Moscow. His parents were intellectuals and hereditary Muscovites, so in every possible way contributed to the development of their child. The boy himself was desperate for knowledge, and his interests were very versatile: drawing, music, chess, football. After graduation, Oleg entered the Architectural Institute, but he did not work in his specialty, but as an operator in the Ogonek-Video program. During this part-time job, he got acquainted with the then creative television party: Ernst, Nikolaev, Molchanov and Kuprin.
In 1988, Ryaskov gets to the film festival in Karlovy Vary, where he meets the American owner of the film studio, who invites Ryaskov to an internship in the United States. Returning to his homeland with such experience, Oleg becomes the main director of such popular television programs as “Theme” with Vladislav Listyev, “L-club” with Leonid Yarmolnik and “The Wheel of History” with Leonid Yakubovich. And in 1998, his first film project called “Military Field Romance” was released, which received the main prize of the Volgograd Film Festival.
Now Oleg Ryaskov is one of the most popular film directors. His work has received awards at many film festivals around the world. The most famous paintings are Alexander Garden (2005), Servant of the State (2007).
