British writer Danny King was born on March 5, 1969 in Slough, in the family of a mason. In addition to him, there were 2 other sons in the family. They lived in Britwell for 10 years before moving to Hampshire. At the new place of residence, Danny was taken to school. When he was 16, he had no specialty. The only place he managed to earn money was on construction sites as a handyman.
In 1991, he began to attend preparatory courses at the College of Technology. Thanks to this, he managed to enter the Faculty of Journalism at the Communication College of London. Between 1993 and 2002, he worked at one magazine or another and eventually became an editor at Mayfair. However, he was increasingly attracted to writing, which he decided to stop. Among his novels are particularly popular: “The Diary of a Killer”, “Diary of a Raider”, “School for Scoundrels”. According to critics, he has an openly evil and ironic style.
In 2006, he published his book “Diary of a Pornographer” about the life and work of a journalist of a men’s magazine. Does this activity seem posh? But no, the journalist is bad from photo shoots, from reading readers' letters, and personal life against this background does not want at all. If you consider that at the same time he is surrounded by drinking employees, obsessive fans, the whims of celebrities, disputes with feminists, you can understand how hellish this work is. In the same year, Danny King wrote The Diary of a Robber, where he revealed the criminal world from a new angle. If everyone usually writes about the romance of the gangster fraternity, then Denny paid attention to a more realistic approach.
2007 was characterized by the release of the book “Gang of Milo”. In it, the writer showed a terribly organized robbery with a huge number of criminals, stupid hostages and unable to negotiate police. The denouement can shock even the most experienced kind of reader.
