Since 1994 - Professor of IPPC at Moscow State University, then, since 1997 - Director of the Center for International Studies of the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Author of 21 monographs, chapters in collective works, published more than 150 articles in leading journals and periodicals in several languages, as well as analytical works, reviews, reference publications. He taught at the Bosphorus Institute (Istanbul, 1991-93), at Ecole Normal Superior (Paris, 1993-94), at Columbia University (New York, 1998).
