As soon as Evgeny was fifteen years old, he left home, traveling independently to many places in Russia.
Roizman graduated from the Ural State University named after Gorky, his specialty is a historian-archivologist. Evgeny Vadimovich is also a specialist in mining Urals and Old Believer icon painting, engaged in entrepreneurial activities.
Eugene is a famous poet, has several books of poetry. As a student, he was a member of the famous poetic group “Internationale”. The musical group “Utah” recorded several compositions on the poems of Evgeny Roizman, which later became hits – “Glorious Autumn”, “Once upon a time” and others.
Roizman is the author of the popular book The City Without Drugs. He was published in several famous magazines - "Youth", "October", "Ural", "Aurora", etc.
Evgeny Vadimovich Roizman created an organization that for many years helps orphanages in the Sverdlovsk region. In 1999, he founded in Russia the first and only private museum "Nevyansk Icon", where he placed the collected works of the Nevyansk school of Old Believers icon painting. Entrance to the museum is free. For his special contribution to Russian culture, Roizman was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts.
For several years in a row, Yevgeny Vadimovich was a deputy of the State Duma of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region, gaining about 40% of the votes in the elections. As an MP, he worked for the Counter-Drugs Commission and is now a supporter of tougher sanctions against drug dealers and alcohol sellers to minors.
