Rachel Leigh Cook was born in Minneapolis on October 4, 1979. Her father was a comedian in the past and then started working as a social worker. My mother is a cooking instructor. After attending Clara Barton Elementary and High School, Laurel Springs graduated from South Minneapolis High School. Rachel was a very shy girl, but this did not prevent her from acting in social advertising at the age of seven, which was a call for adults to become exemplary parents. Three years later, she tries herself as a print model, appearing in advertising banners of the company "Taget" (boxes with milk cookies intended for dogs).
Having mastered her innate shyness, at the age of fourteen, Rachel enters a modeling agency. The debut in the film took place in 1995 in the film “Nursing Club”. The same year was marked by the release of a picture with her participation.
Tom and Huck . But really noticed the actress after filming in the film “26th street of summer” in 1996. A year later, she received one of the main roles in the film “Village Justice”.
Along with her work in the cinema, Rachel in 1998 starred in a video aimed at fighting drugs, which attracted public attention to her person. Also in 2000, she voiced the animated film Batman and Batman: The Joker Returns and in 2005 took part in an independent project on television called West. It was not without her "interference" and voice acting such computer games as "Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus", "Kingdom Hearts II" and "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children". At the same time, she still has time to lead the production company Ben's Sister Productions, which she opened with her younger brother.
Despite the workload, Rachel works hard, and every year grateful fans of her work can see new paintings with her participation. Among the latest films can be noted “Kerosene Cowboys”, “Bob Funk”, “Assigned Paradise”,
etc.
