Maxim Gorky In 1912, Samuel Marshak married Sophia Mikhailovna Milvidskaya, with whom he went to England for two years, where he studied at the University of London. From the marriage with Sophia, Samuel has three children: a daughter Nathanel (died at the age of one), and two sons - Jacob and Immanuel.
In 1920, Samuel Marshak created a children's theater in Catherine, and three years later published his first books for children, among which were "The House that Jack built" and "Children in a Cage" .
Samuel Marshak is the author of such wonderful works as the fairy tales "Twelve Months", "Three Pigs" and "Marshak" translated into the book "Haree". Among the authors whose works were translated by Marshak into Russian, such as William Shakespeare, Rudyard Kipling, Mao Zedong and others. Samuel Yakovlevich died in July 1964 in Moscow. /
