In 1996, Jean-Claude Van Damme shot his debut film In Search of Adventure, in which he invited Louis to play a small role. The young actor managed to impress the legendary Hollywood star, and he recommended Mandilor for the main role in the film “Champions”. In 1998, director Carlton Cuse began filming the series “Chinese City”. Louis successfully passed the audition and was approved for one of the main roles.
The actor became truly recognizable in 2002 after the release of the film My Big Big Greek Wedding. The film was such a success that the creators decided to shoot on its basis the eponymous expanded series.
Luis Mendilor has many diverse works, but he was especially successful in the roles of bad guys and leaders of criminal gangs. Viewers and critics highly appreciated his work in the films “Rescue Squad”, “Mafia”, “Double deception”, “Boy, you hit!”, “White Fever”.
