Amos received international recognition in 1987 after the release of the film Sue. The film was awarded the FIPRESSI award, as well as a special prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
Subsequent success brought the director the film “Fiona” about the life of a prostitute, where again the main role was played by Anna Thompson.
