Grigory Mikhailovich Pozhenyan is a Soviet, Russian literary figure, the author of a number of poetry collections, as well as several scripts for films. He was born on September 20, 1922 in Kharkov, fought in the war with the Germans as part of a military sabotage group. The poet died on his birthday on September 20, 2005. He was 83 years old.
