Lucio Fulci is an Italian screenwriter and director from Rome. After interrupting medical training, Lucio decided to associate himself with cinema. He studied at the Roman Experimental Cinema Center under Lucino Visonti and Michelangelo Antonioni. Between 1952 and 1959, Lucio sold seven screenplays for his films. In 1959, he had to shoot his debut picture “Thieves”, where the comedian Toto was involved, but the film failed at the box office.
