Steve Riley is an American musician and drummer for rock bands W.A.S.P. and L.A. Guns. Steve was born in Massachusetts on January 22, 1956. By his own admission, he decided he would play drums after seeing virtuoso drummer Gene Krupa on TV once as a child. He began playing in the band Roadmaster, with whom he released her debut album in 1976, after which he left the band. In the summer of 1984, Steve received an offer from W.A.S.P. musician Tony Richards to replace him. Riley played in the band for several years until he left in 1987 to join L.A. Guns.
