Mani Ratnam is the man who made a real revolution in Tamil cinema. He is one of the most influential filmmakers in India. Each of his films has its own style, Ratnam invariably covers a wide field of questions, from classic Indian melodrama to political thriller. Mani was born on 2 June 1956 in Madras. Ratnam's filmography includes such paintings as "Silent Symphony" "Hero", "Gitanjali", trilogy "Rose", "Bombay" and Love at first sight , and each of these tapes became an event for Indian cinema.
