He was part of the core of a group of young economists, later known as the Moscow-Petersian Group, originally existing around a seminar at the Leningrad Institute of Engineering and Economics, finally institutionalized after the FinEk seminar in Snake Hill (September 1986; see for more details a series of publications about this community).
The lecture was devoted to the analysis of the correlation of trajectories and the relationship of various development parameters of the selected countries during the financial stabilization stage, as well as the interpretation of these data in connection with the analysis and forecasts obtained by Goldman Sachs.
