His career began in 1959, when his first album was released and debut concerts were held in Spanish cities. Following France, and then came success on the international stage, the guitarist performed a lot around the world, amaze the audience with his filigree skill. He was popular in the USSR, where in the 1970s a documentary film about him was released called “Manuel Cano Plays”.
He died on January 12, 1990 in his native Granada.
