Emilio Tuero is a Spanish-born actor, producer and singer who has played and performed on the Mexican stage. He was born in 1912 on April 5 in the Spanish city of Santander, in 1923 he came to Mexico, growing up, worked on various jobs, and in 1929 he made his first, still short, film. He was born in 1912 on April 5 in the Spanish city of Santander, in 1923 he came to Mexico, growing up, worked on various jobs, and in 1929 he made his first, still short, film. In the 1930s, his career as a singer flourished, and, having gained fame in this capacity, he already began to act in films.
The first picture in it in the main role came out in 1938. In total, Tuero took part in the filming of more than fifty films, founded his own studio Argel Films. As a producer and performer of the main role, he worked, in particular, on such a film as “The Fifth Court”, which became a box office phenomenon.
He died in Mexico City on July 22, 1971.
