A turning point in his career, Forestieri considers meeting jazz legend Bobby Hackett, whom he met when he arrived from Philadelphia to New York at the age of 24. Thanks to this fateful meeting, Lu began to work on the same stage with prominent jazz musicians, several years toured the world, gaining experience in working with a variety of genres.
Later, in the 1990s, he was in Los Angeles, where he began to write music for movies and TV series, including for the film industry.
