Funny Domovenny Kuzka sank into the soul of more than one generation of children, and “The Adventures of Katya in a toy city” probably read many. But about their creator, a wonderful children's writer and artist of books is not written. She has the warmest memories of her friends. From their words it turns out that even in the most difficult periods of her life, Tatiana Alexandrova was a little sorceress.
Tatiana Ivanovna was born on January 10, 1929 in Kazan, however, her childhood passed in Moscow. Tani’s father worked as a logging engineer, often on various business trips. My mother worked as a doctor and often stayed on night duty. Tatiana, along with her older sister Natasha, managed all the household and at the same time tried to study diligently.
When the family was evacuated during the war, Tatiana Alexandrova, who at that time was only 13 years old, worked as a kindergarten teacher. She dreamed of being a storyteller. After school, she entered the animation department of the Institute of Cinematography, then worked at a cartoon studio, then began to teach drawing and painting at the Palace of Pioneers. Tatiana Ivanovna not only taught children and drew them with pleasure. She also told them many stories.
The idea of a fairy tale about Domovenka Kuzka came to her when, while still in practice, she drew village children, and they told her all sorts of horror stories in response to her fairy tales. She first painted the house, and then the famous trilogy appeared. The book was first published in 1977 with the foreword of the famous writer, friend and husband of Alexandrova Valentin Berestov.
Next was the book "Tales of a wise professor", then other stories.
And here is the first cartoon on the work of a storyteller
"House for Kuzka" I saw the light when Tatiana Alexandrova was gone. She died on December 22, 1983 in Moscow. /
