Gennady Nikolaevich Bachinsky was born in the Altai Territory in Spring on September 1, 1971. After graduation, Gennady entered the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University. In his student years, Bachinsky played in a rock band and actively participated in student concerts. Gennady himself organized student festivals of rock groups LETI. In 1994, Gennady successfully graduated from the university and began to work on the radio stations Katyusha and Polis. Since 1994, for three years he was a broadcaster on the radio "Modern". Bachinsky’s first radio project was called “Open City”. For several years he worked together with Andrei Temkin. Together they hosted a weekly program "Music Police".
In 1997, Bachinsky met Stilavin, and they began to work together. Friends hosted the "Morning Show of Bachinsky and Stillavin" first on Russian Radio, then on the radio "Mayak" and MAXIMUM. According to Gennady, their show became popular after a successful subtitle to the song by Steve Wonder "Clearly called to say that I love you." This subtitle became the main feature of their duo. Their morning broadcast was mainly aimed at students, but they were listened to by everyone. Bachinsky was the author of many successful and subtle jokes and pranks.
In addition to working on the radio, Bachinsky actively participated in the filming of entertainment programs on MTV, TNT, and then on the First Channel. Bachinsky worked on the TV shows “Rules of Removal” and “Wall on the Wall”. Gennady Bachinsky several times starred in the film

In the last years of his life, Gennady Bachinsky began to devote much time to religion, he donated money to the Klobukov monastery. January 12, 2008 Gennady Bachinsky tragically died in a car accident in the Tver region between the villages of Nagorskoye and Yarinskoye. On January 15, 2008, he was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. Gennady Bachinsky left his wife Julia and two daughters, Katya and Lisa.
