Vladimir Aleksandrovich Kochetov is a Soviet actor and film director.
For him, who was born in 1906 in one of the villages of the Moscow province, the time of his formation as a person and the choice of his life path fell on difficult revolutionary years. Meanwhile, Vladimir Alexandrovich, it seems, always knew what he wanted to do - already in 1927 he began to act in films at the Mezhrabpomfilm studio, later transformed into Soyuzdetfilm - it is worth noting that both these film organizations preceded the creation of the Gorky film studio in the future on their basis. And in 1929 he graduated from the acting and directing department of the GTK.
The main activity of Kochetov in the cinema was directing. He shot educational, educational films, newsreels, in 1939 he came to “Lenfilm”, in 1950 – to the Odessa film studio. He also worked in the film acting school of Almaty, which he directed from 1946 to 1950, and in the Batumi theater of the Black Sea Fleet, where he was a director from 1943 to 1945.
