" I went to Lasalle College and I loved doing all kinds of sports - tells us Gustavo - now the truth is a little weakened doing tennis. I remember with nostalgia how our whole family was going out for the weekends and I spent them in the cheerful company of my friends.
A shadow of nostalgia slips in his gaze as the Argentine actor speaks of his father:
“From a father who died about ten years ago, I learned a lot. Until the age of 45, he worked as a representative of various companies. And then he had his first heart attack. All of his advice he gave me throughout his life was only understood after his death. He was scared one day because I had a motorcycle accident. He explained to me that it is the law of life that a son burys his father, but parents are not prepared to outlive their children.
He gave advice to me and my brother Gabriel about our lives and the mission that destiny has for us. He taught us to be honest and to respect other people. When my father passed away, I didn’t complain about life despite the fact that he died quite young – he was only 61 years old. On the contrary, I felt happy that I had the opportunity to enjoy his company and that I still had his promises. I gave him all my hugs and kisses when the time came.
Gustavo always had a wonderful relationship with his parents. They supported him in everything. Even when he told them he wanted to be an actor.
I told them I was going to go to Buenos Aires to start my acting career. My parents accepted the news without a single reproach, although it was cold water for them. They were worried but also wanted me to find my calling. I think I always wanted to be an actor. This desire was awakened in me the first time I was in a movie watching a John Vine film. None of my family belonged to this profession, but it became my dream and I wanted to fulfill it. That with a suitcase filled with dreams and illusions at the age of 18 Gustavo came to Buenos Aires in order to find his destiny. . .
