Glen Murakami is an American animator, director and producer of Japanese origin. Some of his most famous works are the animated series Batman of the Future, Young Titans, Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Alien Superpower.
Murakami originally wanted to become a comic book artist. His work in film began, we can say, with the occasion – his high school friend Kate Wisner got a job as an artist in the animated series “Batman” and informed Glen that the studio Warner Bros. Animation is looking for new talents. Murakami presented his storyboards, which, however, were not approved. But his talent was appreciated and Glen was hired.
Over the years of his activity in cinema, Murakami was repeatedly presented to television awards - in 1999 he won "Annie" for the series "The New Adventures of Batman", in 2001 he received "Day Emmy" for the series "Batman of the Future", in 2006 - for the series "Batman".
