Tom Tykwer Patrick Suskind was born in Germany in 1949. After serving in the army, he was fond of studying languages (English, Spanish, Greek and Latin), worked on temporary jobs and later moved to Paris.
In 1980, the play "Contrabass" (Der Kontrabass) was published, which made the name of Patrick Suskind recognizable. No less famous were such works of the writer as "Dove" (Die Taube) and "The Tale of Mr. Sommer" (Die Geschichte von Herrn Sommer), in which Suskind fully reflected memories and experiences from his own childhood.
In the creative activity of Patrick Suskind there was also a place for writing scripts. Among the most famous "Cyrus Royale", "Monaco Franze" and "Normal Madness", which were written together with the author.
