Alas, with the development of “perestroika” processes that caused a massive outflow of the Russian-speaking population from the Asian republics, life plans had to be drastically changed, he had to drop out and move to a new place of residence – Volgograd, the homeland of his maternal ancestors. The time was turbulent, so who did not work for the sake of basic survival: electrician, builder, sellers of books, entrepreneur in the clothing market (6 years). The bright streak in life came only in 2000, when the Alpha Book accepted my first book, Pilgrimage to the Enemy, for publication, since then I have been engaged in an exceptional work that has always been to my liking - the creation of books.
Married. Larisa Voroshilova, like me, a science fiction writer, is also a professional translator of fiction from English. We have co-authored two books: The Power of Desire and The Unaccounted Factor.
I like heroes who have extraordinary abilities, but I don’t think I’ll ever bring out a scumbag. These characters are only interesting to me as a rat. On the other hand, I am not looking for simple characters, each of us coexists both positive and negative traits, we have different abilities, different levels of intelligence and the way information metabolism is a way of perceiving and processing information. Realizing this, I try to be objective about any of my characters, because first of all, any good book, whatever ideas it contains, tells about people and their relationships. And in what world they exist - in a fantasy, or in a world filled with combat robots - this is the tenth case, just a colorful entourage, beneficially animating the narrative.
