Born November 20, 1975 in St. Petersburg. Dmitry Zhamoyda was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Theatre "Contemporary" in 1999 almost immediately after graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre Studio School and short work in the Theatre-Studio under the leadership of O.P. Dmitry Zhamoyda was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Theatre "Contemporary" in 1999 almost immediately after graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre Studio School and short work in the Theatre-Studio under the leadership of O.P. Tabakov. Among the roles played by the young artist on the stage of “Contemporary”, – Bastard of the courtyard in the play “Play...” Schiller!" (scenic version of the tragedy of F. Schiller "Maria Stewart"), the first passer-by in "Pygmalion" Bernard Shaw, Bikchentayev in "Cool Route" Eugene Ginzburg. As a director, he debuted with an experimental performance based on the work of N.V. Gogol “Dead Souls”, which is performed in the rehearsal hall of the theater.
