In 1972 she graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography (the Department of Musical Comedy Actors, the class of Prof. I. Grinshpoon). In 1973 she was enrolled as a choir artist in the Leningrad Theater of Musical Comedy, and in 1975 she was transferred to the troupe.
