At the age of 14, the girl performs in music clubs in Brussels, where she performs various compositions under her father’s guitar. After one of these performances, Fabian is invited to take part in a music competition, where Lara brilliantly wins.
In 1988, Lara Fabian performs at Eurovision-88 with the song “Croire”, thanks to which he occupies the fourth position. This result did not disappoint the girl. She went to Montreal and started her own recording studio. Soon the decision to start a solo career is brewing, and in 1991 Lara Fabian’s debut album Lara Fabian was released, in which the listener has the opportunity to appreciate the singer’s vocal abilities. The composition “Je t aime” is so filled with love that you don’t even need to know French to understand what it is about.
The 1994 album Carpe Diem went gold a week after its release. In 1996, Walt Disney invited Lara Fabian to voice Esmeralda in the animated film Le Bossu de Notre Dame. A little later, the singer recorded the soundtrack to the movie “AI” – “For Always”.
