Eve (Jihan Jeffers) was born in California on November 10, 1979. She was twelve years old when her parents separated. Staying with her mother and grandmother, Eve could still date her father. Two years after the divorce, her mother remarried and Eve had a younger brother. While at school, she, with her short stories, poems and plays, won school literary competitions and soon became quite famous in her school. As a teenager, Eve, under the pseudonym Gangsta, was part of the EDJP reading and dancing group. However, the band quickly broke up, and the girl had to sing alone under the name Eve of Destruction. Eve has performed in clubs, at private parties, participated in various talent competitions and I must say that she still managed to achieve some recognition. But it wasn't what she dreamed of.
In his personal life, too, there were problems, and Eve is increasingly thinking about leaving home. One day with friends Eve came to New York and made a trip to a huge night city. As a result, she got a job in a scholarship club, but soon realized that such work was hopeless. Luckily, Eve got to know Mase, a former rapper who convinced her to quit striptease and rap. Eve took the advice of the ex-rapper and went to Michael Lynn for an audition. After the audition, Eve ended up in Los Angeles, where she recorded three songs. But before the release of the debut album was still far away. The path of the rap industry has not been easy. She has worked extensively and fruitfully, collaborating with BLACKSTREET (the single "Girlfriend/Boyfriend"), with RUFF RYDERS ("What Ya Want"), with Missy Elliot ("Hot Eve's Way to the Tops of PBoyz"), with THE ROOTS ("You Got Me"), the single "You Got Me" brought THE ROOTS in the category "rap duet, record with the band" became the top spot on the latest chart "G rammy". At the same time, Eve recorded her debut album, Let There Be... Ruff Ryders' First Lady. /
