Asher (DJ Skazi) and Assaf (DJ B-bass), also known as "Skazi" have been performing together since 1998. Skazi need no introduction - genuine trance masters working in a unique style, which is often called "trans rock" or "guitar trance", combining Psy-Trance, Hardcore and frenzied guitar riffs in the best traditions of heavy rock. But Skazi is not so much rabid guitar riffs as a sense of inner balance, harmony of sounds, rhythm and melody. The positive energy of this music, the state of complete unity with the hall brought this direction and the project itself to extraordinary popularity around the world. Some even call it a psych-o-funk extravaganza. Now in this style work Exaile, Xenomorph, Jorg, Abbsolum, Talamasca, Manitu, etc.
Until 1998, Asher successfully performed for seven years in the Jerusalem rock band Sartan Hashad and three years in Rock Ba-Yarok, and Assaf since 1992, working as a DJ in Israeli clubs, created the project “Mental Orange”, which later became part of “Skazi”. Their first collaborative album, Animal, recorded in seven months, blew up the electronic music world in an instant, offering him a new innovative trance swirl combining Usher's live guitar and, storming the dance floor, Assaf's synth sound. Sudden success put Skazi in the first ranks of the giants of electronic music. This is evidenced by the huge demand for their discs around the world and the constant invitations to various electronic music festivals such as: Fuji Rock Festval (Japan), The Gathering (Australia), Exxpirience (Brazil), Fool Moon Festival (Germany), Boom Festival (Portugal), Optical Matrix (Austria, Russia) and many others. By influencing our energy and physiology, Skazi releases the energy hidden in the very depths of the human soul, allows people to exchange inner emotions, sharpens the perception of the world. “They make you laugh, they make you dance, they make you see things you can’t see, and they dissolve you in a trance sky,” the Japan Times wrote. In March 2002, Skazi released their second album, Storm, which further cemented their position at the top of the trance scene. Between 2001 and 2004, they released 3 compilations, which were widely distributed worldwide.
More than 100 of their tracks have been included in more than 40 trance music collections. And again, Skazi for many months remain at the top of the charts in Japan, the UK, Brazil, Mexico. Skazi has already visited every corner of the globe, performing mainly on large raves in front of tens of thousands of people in Israel, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Switzerland, Holland, Portugal, Australia, Russia, India, Spain, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary and many other countries.
