Meiko Kaji is a Japanese enka singer and actress who became popular thanks to her songs on the soundtracks for the films Kill Bill and Kill Bill 2. She is also known for her roles in Japanese films, especially in revenge films such as Lady Snowcoat and its sequel Lady Snowcoat 2: A Song of Revenge.[6] Kaji is also a singer and has performed thematic songs for her films, such as "Shura no Hana" from the film "Lady Snow Cloak" and "Urami Bushi" from the film series "Woman Convoy #701: Scorpion" [6].
