Immediately after graduating from the cinema department of the University of Southern California, John directed one of the most popular films among young people, Step Up 2: The Streets (2008). The film was a continuation of Anne Fletcher’s film “Step Up”, which was also devoted to the world of dance and the creative search of young people. John Chu in his film was able to combine his love for stunning dance and cinema, giving the viewer an exciting plot to the modern rhythms of R'n'B.
