Fedor Emelianenko was born on September 28, 1976 in the city of Rubezhnoe (Ukraine). The boy was the second of four children. When he was two years old, the family moved to Russia.
Already at the age of 10, Fedor wanted to learn martial arts. That is why his parents enrolled him in the judo and sambo section to Vasily Gavrilov. There the young man took his first steps on the way to world recognition. Very soon sports became his main goal in life.
The desire to win allowed Fedor to develop his talent. He was rapidly building his career. In 1997, his first success came. Then there were numerous international tournaments, including Rings and Pride.
In 2007, Fedor Emelianenko, according to the presidential decree, was awarded the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" for his contribution to the development of culture and sports of the Russian Federation.
The athlete managed to star in the movies. They were the films “Weapon Man” (2007), “The Most Dangerous Man on the Planet” (2009) and “The Most Dangerous Man on the Planet”.
