Despicable Me is a gripping and funny story about an evil genius named Gru, who tries to steal the moon to prove his power.
In addition to the main plot, it also tells about the difficulties that Gru has when he decides to adopt three orphans to use them in his insidious plans. In the process of courting the girls, Gru changes and becomes more human, which makes his character even more interesting and understandable for viewers. It is through the acquisition of humanity that we see the formation and maturation of the protagonist, how family ties can turn even a cruel villain into a great father.
The cartoon is made simply on 5+, visually attractive and very memorable. He's full of hilarious jokes, including using minions - funny and crazy yellow creatures who work for Gru in his lab. The cartoon has many references to pop culture when creating images of antagonists and main characters. Well, minions are just a super idea that was born into its own product in the future.
However, the plot of “Despicable Me” in some places seems a bit boring, since in general the cartoon is too predictable. However, this does not prevent it from being one of the best animated films of recent years, thanks to its interesting concept, bright characters and exciting ending.
Despicable Me is a fun, fun and unforgettable adventure that will appeal to animation lovers of all ages. Recommended viewing!
“Despicable Me” became one of the last three-dimensional cartoons in which the freshness of ideas is felt. Breaking out of the favorite scheme of American blockbusters, he gives us an unusual story in which a minimum of clichés and enough creativity, the level of which is closer to the Monsters Corporation.
A world in which being a villain means occupying a specific niche in society is similar to ours, but there is a lot of fiction, partly referring to the films of the 1960s. The only thing missing is James Bond, who would solve numerous crimes. The competition for the best villain, in which grumpy Gru participates, is a whole system, but the system is open. Including for the good, which many villains are deprived of both on screen and in reality. Whether we like it or not, we face good. Gru ran into him. The way it changes is shown vividly, convincingly, and, most importantly, without the typical American reproaches such as “You are to blame yourself”, “Everything is clear to us with you”. There is a situation and there are emotions of the character that are more eloquent than any extraneous remarks. The bright sky, constantly flashing in the frame, as if reminds us that the world itself is good, just usually we do not notice this both in the environment and in ourselves.
I want to praise the interior of Gru’s home and the design of his transport, in which the influence of dieselpunk is felt. All this plays in contrast to the advanced technologies of the villain-competitor, who actively uses flat and touch screens, and also lives in a lighter, futuristic mansion.
Of course, do not think that “Despicable Me” is flawless. Carrying creativity, the cartoon contains features of American animation that have always caused irritation, whether it is toilet humor or excessively caricatured faces with sharp noses. It is impossible not to reproach “Despicable Me” and for “minions”, which later became a headache for many viewers with the release of sequels and spin-offs. Not only do yellow minions not know how to live among people, they also behave like fools. With such helpers, you know, and no enemies! One can only guess how Gru stayed afloat for a long time.
A positive cartoon in which there are only a few karel head pain. But what is the surprise about the villain?

In each of us there is something negative, evil, which escapes, but if there is love in life, then all this can be defeated. Perhaps Gru is the first main villain character, who was shown in the cartoon and revealed it from the positive side. A kind of archizlod, world evil, which shows its secret corners of the heart with kindness, mercy, indifference.
I think the cartoon will appeal to any family member, any generation. Personally, we decided to see the picture, according to my desire, as I really like the cartoon ' Robots' from the illustrator Chris Reno, who made such a beautiful cartoon as Despicable Me. We weren't wrong. It's an insanely rich picture, bright colors, cool minions, they invented voices very well, children now repeat them all the time. Greatly painted the house, details, in black shades, and then beat it in pink with a pony.
If you want to laugh from the heart, spend an hour and a half fun and interesting, then you should watch this cartoon. And yes, a special thanks to Steve Carell, who voiced Gru Felonius Mexon. A losing actor with unreal facial expressions.
Perhaps in our family and among my friends there was no person who did not watch this cartoon.
The main character is Gru as the most notorious and brutal villain in the past. But suddenly he runs across a new villain with great potential and fresh thinking. And the main "hero" has a big goal, which he dreamed of realizing since childhood, problems - lack of funds and competition. In parallel, he adopts three girls from the orphanage, after which, over time, he wonders whether to achieve his goal or change his life.
Movies with similar plots, where a tough man under the influence of children changes his image and behavior, met not for the first time. The cartoon was pleased, albeit the secondary theme, but also there is a drive, coolness and humor.
A small problem of the cartoon is that the laws of physics are too overdone, but this can be omitted because it is funny here.
Of the characters, I liked both Gru and his “minions” because they were really funny. When my sister watched the cartoon, she liked minions much more.
In general, this is a good cartoon with a secondary theme and humor and a cool antihero.

We are all used to when the main characters of cartoons are valiant knights or cheerful animals, but not villains who need to be challenged. Morality and common sense suggest that children should be shown what is good and what is bad. But the creators of the cartoon ' Despicable Me' decided to go on an unconventional path and I believe that they have everything worked out as it should.
The main character, or rather the villain, of this plot becomes Gru, a bald man in a black suit, who for as long as he can remember, is engaged in all sorts of villains. Gru is unsociable, he trusts only himself and his partner-professor, and can rely on minions, yellow little henchmen who must serve the most famous criminals of the planet.
Gru went for a very long time to the title of the most famous villain, but he has an unexpected competitor, who is not only young, but also has overly ambitious plans. This state of affairs does not suit Gru, who decides to teach a lesson to an arrogant competitor. But who knew that on the threshold of the villain there will be orphans, whom he will have to take under his care and thereby begin to re-educate. . .
Thanks to a unique and very unexpected idea, the cartoon ' Despicable Me' became so popular and spawned an entire franchise that includes a spin-off that grossed a billion dollars at the box office. Everything here is simple on the one hand, and on the other hand very interesting and amazing. The main character and he is a villain is just charm. He's doing bad things, but nothing really terrible is happening. Gru is such a sweet scoundrel and he has to go a long way of re-education.
Drawing a cartoon is not like Pixar, it is simple, but charming. The same can be said about the melodic, but not the most memorable soundtrack. a special find I will call the minions that stole more than one audience heart. Still, they are very fun and funny, not for nothing all over the world every year sold hundreds of thousands of toy minions and this is really just the beginning.
I can tell you that ' Despicable Me' you'll like it if you're able to enjoy simple and positively drawn stories that can relax well. It may not be a masterpiece for centuries, but definitely an interesting cartoon.

Starting to promote its approach and policy towards children's cartoons, using the outright cruelty and some sadistic inclinations of the writers, for the young company Illumination Entertainment was not quite right ... not quite right from an ethical point of view - this film is stuffed with repeated bullying, murder (veiled as miraculous salvation) and the consequences of unreasonable greed. On the commercial side, the work of the hand of the "director of one picture" Pierre Coffin had crazy capital, the lion's share of which was spent on the publicizing of "yellow banana lovers." And such commercial aggression could not but affect the financial success of animation, thereby forming one of the most famous brands of the second decade of the XX century.
Speaking of secondary characters (no doubt, on which the initial bet was), minions are a real product of creative work and something unique, unlike the usual plot, where initially not so nasty villain comes to understanding and light.
To call this animation something outstanding does not want. But for a bold debut and attempts to collect your own universe with a banana shade, you can put a plus.
By the way, after the premiere, three more short films were released with a bonus, this time more paying attention to small “workers”. Whole, they turned out even more funny and funny than the main picture, diluted with half-villains, half-jokes and sweetness with elements of sado-maso.

... As you think about something, so you make an adventure on the fifth point.
The plot is mainly based on the villain Gru. And he's a jerk. There's a sea of smell and ingenuity in the shit. He's also a top-notch villain. Once Gru decided to outdo it, and naturally he decided to regain the title, and something in the plan goes wrong. It’s not like having three girls.
The villains have a beautiful entourage: Stylish villain houses, interiors and gadgets that catch the eye, and much more, from which it is impossible to break away.
The characters themselves are charming and have a lot of charisma. The main character - Gru catches his eye in every scene. It feels like he and the girls - the second plot important characters of the cartoon, become a family.
Secondary heroes are not impressive. In addition, some of them appear to be real villains of this cartoon, and in general, such personalities can be found when you go out.
In total, Despicable Me is a good cartoon for the evening.
As is often the case with me, with the creations of the studio IIlumination only when they began to talk about too much. And opinions were diametrically opposed, some sincerely love their animated tapes, and some consider them absolutely degenerative. To me, their work, at least in the face of the tape Despicable I seemed bland. It seems that the execution is not bad, and the idea is not quite worn out, and the creative impulse of the authors is not felt. It’s hard to explain, but their film is too calibrated, highly tailored to the wishes of the target groups and therefore boring.
The story of a villain becoming a hero under the influence of people dear to him is certainly not new. But I had a lot of hopes for the setting of the tape, giving a lot of room for imagination. A world where crimes are elevated to the rank of art, and their perpetrators become a kind of pop stars could not be boring. He did not turn out, in general, the world is probably the strongest part of the tape, but they do not reveal it as well as I would like.
But what got a lot of attention was the minions. And it was painful, all the same characters created for comedy unloading should not be on the screen for so long, especially jokes with their participation do not shine with variety, stupid creatures just spoil everything they touch. And in general, there are not enough jokes designed for all ages, simple gags for children who will certainly like the cartoon prevail.
Perfectly calculated commercial product unmistakably hit the target audience, but very boring film.

Agnes, Margot and Edith have their eyes rounded,
In the ugly Gru, the good was awakened
There is no true evil in this story.
But it is true that there is no true evil, although the sharp-nosed Gru gives the impression of a nasty person, everything can change in a day, hour or instant. The world is arranged in such a way that the kindness inherent in people does not remain in the dark corners of the soul and it tends to wake up from small surprises of fate, and in the case of our “villain”, surprises turned out to be really small. Just Gru was not aware of it yet engaged in the conquest of the world, as well as all sorts of villains, questions about family, and especially about fatherhood, remained somewhere on the periphery, and minions were great distractions, these little yellow creatures that have no definite history of origin. But let’s not get distracted and answer one question, do you think Gru really wanted to be a supervillain? No, just really wanted the recognition of my mother and became what he is, and it is understandable his further actions, predictable, but correct, human.
“Despicable Me” is a vivid example of a family cartoon (well, certainly not “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, where people drop safes on their heads, so you can safely watch), where the reflections of a person who is eager to find his purpose, constantly engaged in self-deception are correctly shown. This is a sad story at first and a joyful one in the middle, very close to many viewers who realize how important it is to enjoy the appearance of gifts in life, and even more wonderful not to refuse them, even an ambitious desire to steal the moon can fly to dust. Therefore, it is not surprising that this colorful fairy tale in a short time has gained great popularity, and film lovers are satisfied and directors are fed. Pierre Cofan and Chris Renaud filled their story not only with emotionality, but also with a strong share of the necessary drama, it is surprising that with such a curious composition, they did not forget about the humorous component, which is palpable from the first exhibition. The concept is simple, but not all directors manage to fit several genres in one film at once, and it sometimes turns out to be painfully boring, but this is not about our sharp-nosed friend.
Do not close your heart to your loved ones, change before it is too late, otherwise you risk spending the rest of your life in a purposeless search for happiness that will lead to nothing, do not be ashamed to be better. The main motives and instructions of the creators of the tape are clear as day. Together we will observe how Gru goes through psychological and emotional metamorphosis, tormenting himself with doubts, and if this is not enough, then on the way to his ascent to a new life, he will be hindered by the villain Vector, at the same time similar to some character traits with Gru, but not changing for the better, a tactical hint of what kind of hero or villain you do not need to be.
It was today that I suddenly wanted to see some good cartoon, so the choice fell on the very first part of everyone’s favorite. Ugly me. I heard only positive reviews about it, so I immediately tuned in to see a great family cartoon with good jokes and a good atmosphere. Have my expectations been met? Let's find out.
So, the advantages of the cartoon:
1) The main character .
Oh, yeah, in my opinion, Gru's charisma was off the charts. It was his jokes that I laughed at most. As a character, he also came out quite well: there is background, motivation for actions and all that. And the image itself is interesting. It is not often you meet in a children's cartoon the main character, who is kind of a villain. Although, to be honest, it is difficult to call Gru a villain, because for the entire hour and a half of time he does nothing so terrible. But these are small things.
2 Music.
I really liked the music design. It did not distract from action and was always in place. I have no idea who the composer was, but thank you very much for the great music.
3 General picture.
I want to highlight this point. I think it worked out great here. You can see that the creators really tried, working on the cartoon. The picture is pleasant, the movements of the characters are plastic and quite close to the realities. The special effects are not bad either.
4 Girls.
I liked them too. Each has its own, fully prescribed character, even if they behave in a similar way, despite their age. They also had some funny and touching scenes. Usually, the characters-children scare me as irritating, no matter whether it is a movie or a cartoon. This has not happened, and this is a good sign.
5 Atmosphere.
I liked the atmosphere of the cartoon. She's so kind, family and warm. It is heat that many modern cartoons lack, so this is also a big plus.
Now to the minuses... More precisely, to those aspects that caused me a rather neutral attitude, because there are probably no minuses here.
1) Minions.
I know a lot of people like them, but I didn’t care about them. I have nothing to say about them, because the minions did not cause any emotions.
2) The main antagonist.
If I am not mistaken, the antagonist here is Vector. What do you say? At first, he gives the impression of a cool and talented villain, despite his idiotic habits, and then completely becomes an empty villain-idiot. I think his character was created only for laughing, and maybe the kids at the time appreciated it, but I am not.
3 Humor.
Humor isn't good either. There's a lot of it, but what I really laughed at was Gru's dark jokes. The words of the other characters, aimed at causing laughter, and other various gags at best could only bring a smile.
Result.
For me, the cartoon came out very good. Yes, it does not pretend to have a deep meaning, here you will not find excellent humor or many colorful characters. However, despite all this, the cartoon still managed to give me a whole hour and a half of fun, and that says a lot.
In 2010 came the cartoon "Despicable me", which was loved by many viewers, both adults and children. The tape will tell you about the villain Gru, who is always sullen and tries to stay on the lists of the most dangerous criminals. But on his heels comes the young generation. Hoping not to give up, he adopts three orphans, Margot, Edith, and Agnes, who can help him in one insidious way. But in the pursuit of success, he himself does not notice how he is imbued with love for these girls and the question of villainy is threatened.
He also has yellow creatures that are a little dorky, cute, funny, and speak their own incomprehensible language. They warm up interest in the cartoon, and very harmoniously complement it. The funny moments they get into are very funny and do not let a smile come off your face.
It was from 2010 that the world learned about minions and made them cult. Toys, games, souvenirs, the world is really crazy about them. Of course, over the years everything has subsided, but now the franchise has 3 parts, plus one spin-offs, about themselves, not counting short films about yellow eccentrics, and I think that is not the limit. You have to watch the whole family.
By the way, I'll talk about voiceover and dubbing. In the original Gru speaks in the voice of Steve Carell, and he does this with an emphasis that can not be understood by dubbing from Fairman. But his work is still not bad. But the main opponent Gru, Vector, in the Russian version voiced Mark Tishman, and it is definitely worth commending, because he gave this character the necessary charm for him. Give in to the fever and watch this cartoon.
The idea of showing a great villain in the past, dreaming of regaining his former glory, for the cartoon seems interesting, but lazy. When creating this picture, the creators had a lot of opportunities to portray the villain and his environment, because no frames tape, in fact, was not limited. But how to show a terrible villain if something appears that makes him want to quit everything and move to the Light Side? Of course, adding these “re-educational characters.” And despite how everything eventually began to look, the clichés from the very idea were visible. And this is the main problem of the cartoon: mixed with each other clichés that the most notorious movie fans will certainly cut their eyes. And it is unknown how, but still thanks to excellent work everything worked out, and the tape really looks good, but not great. And how not to note the main feature of not only the cartoon, but also the entire franchise, because of which children drool and laugh at everything, and more adult viewers it is already slightly infuriating - minions. In fact, they could be called differently, for example, so that the word "minions" is not associated in children only with yellow little creatures, but how did this word catch on to them. It’s a real phenomenon to make comic characters a real face for the franchise, such a case somewhere not the first time and remember.
The plot, although many will find great, is actually very banal and, again, not devoid of clichés. I'm not saying it's bad, and it's not possible to look at the picture at all. On the contrary, because of these twists, fueled by jokes, it is possible to relax and have fun, but it sounds loud. It all starts typical and, most importantly, slowly. We have time to acquaint ourselves with everything that is happening and you can immediately understand what to expect, especially from jokes that are here for different tastes. The tie-up also seems worthy, but then follows a typical cartoon, for example, for DreamWorks, it does not even feel that Universal did it. The plot twists, clichés, humor - everything here seems something similar, but fortunately due to the fact that the tape is about a magnificent villain, because of the action can not get bored. And here, of course, there is a lot of unreal, for example, supertechnology. But in addition, despite the fact that this is typical for cartoons, the concept of “physics” is completely absent here. Universal knows all about it (Hi, Furious!) And it turns out that the cartoon is good, but it turns out to be difficult to praise it, because, personally, I just can not help but say that there is too much predictable, and there are understatements and contradictions to events, and I want to omit the picture because of this, but I do not want to, it does not deserve it, because most of this is done qualitatively and at the level.
The soundtrack is great. In addition to the compositions that make you feel everything that is happening, of course, I want to note the beautifully selected songs. They fit very well into the tape and please the hearing. Animation for a kind of useful, but all these “things”, like someone’s nose is unusually long, someone’s legs are disproportionate to the body, someone has no neck or chin at all – some mutant, not a person. Still, it all looks a little strange. The humor is absolutely predictable: from really funny family jokes, the picture slides smoothly to “pee-pee-ka-ka” and “places below the back.” After all, without the last tape only strengthened its value, but how not to please children with such jokes, of course.
The cartoon turned out to be worthy, despite everything predictable, pluses can be noted more, although not quite it turns out. A good start for an entire animated franchise.
"Despicable Me" is a world-famous cartoon by Universal Studios. And although it was released back in 2010, my eye this wonderful creation pleased only now, after 7 years.
On the eve of the third part of this cartoon, I wanted to watch the first of them to see if I should go to the premiere of the 3rd part of the cartoon in late June. “Despicable Me” met all my expectations and did not disappoint at all!
A perfectly built plot will be interesting not only for children, but also for adults, since the cartoon is replete with a huge amount of humor and jokes of all colors of the rainbow, as well as unexpected turns. You won’t miss watching for a minute!
The main characters just make them fall in love: ugly, but kind in heart Gru, three girls from the orphanage, whom he eventually fell in love with, and, of course, unforgettable minions that the viewer loved so much!
Separately, I want to note the cartoon drawing and wonderful, downright explosive soundtracks to it! The picture pleases the eye, you can watch it forever!
I recommend Despicable Me to all those who like high-quality cartoons and just like to have fun!
Masterpiece!
Everyone must have asked themselves a question: Am I the person I think people are? Not everyone answered it, but it seemed to everyone that they were what society called them.
As for Mr. Gru, he knew who he was from birth and made him known as a nasty man. The only bad thing is that he hasn't always been, and will be. Although the changes that have occurred with him are going in a positive direction.
Tricks, tricks make Gru feel great, because he is on his plate. No one prevents him from committing sinister acts. Until they show up... Children who force to change the inner world of a nasty and, to some extent, nasty person. Of course it scares him!!! Detachment from the children leads him to failure, and he tries to restore a good relationship. After all, girls: the main close people, albeit small ones.
An evil man who offends everyone in his path, in the end, a good uncle with his cockroaches in his head.
The cartoon carries the big idea that people are not born evil, society makes them so. But in every person there is both a positive and a negative side, which opens gradually, depending on what the person likes, and how often it comes across the person on the way.

I don’t often watch cartoons, but since childhood I remember that in most cases the main characters in them were good characters who somehow resisted the evil ones, and usually they were successfully defeated. However, to my surprise, there are cartoons where the narrative is conducted from the perspective of a negative character. That’s exactly what “Despicable Me” is.
Indeed, the plot is rather unusual. The main character, which villain to look for, is in a league of supervillains. And the most important goal in his life is to achieve the honorary title of “Major Supervillain”. For this purpose, he develops a clever plan to steal the moon, but in his way there are unforeseen problems that not only distract him from the idea, but also affect his entire worldview.
In general, usually when I watched cartoons about superheroes, for some reason, I always rooted for villains, I always liked them more positive characters. But in this cartoon everything is just the opposite, negative characters I did not like, but positive caused a lot of pleasant emotions, and I sincerely worried about them.
Perhaps this is a consequence of drawing characters, because the negative characters turned out to be completely unremarkable and truly repulsive. Positive, on the contrary, attracted attention. I think the minions are positive characters.
Speaking of the minions themselves. They are the main feature of the entire animated series (if you take all three films in which these pre-funny creatures appear). Watching them was really fun and fun. If it wasn’t, my review would have been a different color.
I especially liked the musical accompaniment of those moments when the main characters first appeared on the screen. As for the rest of the scenes, I don’t really remember the music, although I can’t say it didn’t fit the action.
On the positive side, I want to note the lack of vulgarity in this cartoon, it can be seen that it is really designed for family viewing. So, if you want to watch a good-natured cartoon with an unusual plot, and very funny characters, then I can safely recommend it for viewing by the whole family. True, you will look exclusively at minions, they really distinguish the cartoon from many others.

Modern animators every year try to outdo each other: somewhere in realism, somewhere in comedy or drama, somewhere in the amazingness of the idea. But the unshakable quality for all cartoons (I mean, of course, Hollywood) is their adaptation to our real life. No matter how fictional and comic this or that story may seem, nevertheless it is based on real events from the lives of ordinary people. And even such a man-hateful person as Mr. Gru, an ordinary orphan, who was treated unacceptably in a childlike manner in childhood and as a result he became one of the main villains - this has happened more than once in the history of mankind.
... But were there any precedents in history when three crumbs could re-educate such a malicious villain? This is an interesting question, of course.
All right.
Mr. Gru is a really evil, vile villain. But, as he said, he was not always like that, and it all started from childhood, which he ... and did not have - thanks to the inattention of parents / la (by the way, than not modern life realities!). So now, Mr. Gru, annoyed by the fact that he is not the main villain of the planet at the moment (that’s where the annoyance is!), decided to take the palm of the championship into his own hands. And not just take, but ascend to heaven: literally and literally. Gru You need the moon to realize your dreams! Not much less than that.
But we will talk in the cartoon not only about the insidious plans of Gru and their implementation, but also about cute little kids who intend to change the villain for the better. But also about the yellow faithful assistants of Gru - small minions, the origin of which is quite difficult to determine, but you can scoff at leprosy forever. Who are they? We know. They're orphan girls waiting for adoption and finding it. Who are the minions? We have no idea! But what is more faithful and able-bodied assistants can not be found - so it is aaa!
Gru, a long-nosed and narrow-legged young man, unspeakably, an evil character. But, as once again we see in the movie, you can melt the heart of even the most fierce villain, if in it at least a little... After all, if a great sincere love from the outside to snatch a deeply hidden piece of love somewhere in the depths of the soul of another person ... somewhere very deep ... Anything can happen...
Even pleasant ...
The cartoon "Despicable Me" includes both echoes of the real painted world (presumably San Francisco), and the world of its "ugly-eye", where the laws of physics do not work quite often, which sometimes causes slight bewilderment. Bewilderment, but much more, is caused by very unpleasant moments, such as animal bowls addressed to children, and a few adult phrases for children's ears. Such things are not only amazing for a cartoon without age restrictions, but also frankly wild.
The drawing of each hair, each stroke is simply beautiful, so I recommend not tablets and laptops, but Full HD on the big screen.
The musical cut was somewhat disappointing. Something bright, memorable, cute was not noticed, which is very surprising for such high-budget work.
The Russian dubbing inclined my brain to two thoughts: the first - Gru is Yarmolnik, the second - Agnes is Masha from the Bear. Is that true? How it happened! Bullshit! And in general, the behavior of Agnes is painfully reminiscent of our Masha, who has become a kind of national hero for several years of its existence.
Let Gru and the kids are the main characters of the cartoon, but the main intriguers are undoubtedly minions who both work and have fun for glory. At first, it seemed that their muttering did not mean anything. But it wasn't! And behind every word they can easily grasp is a specific human word, so ... listen carefully, and then you will become even more ridiculous than before.
"Despicable Me" did not become a separate milestone in animation or something cultic, but definitely loved and popular (not without the help of yellow brothers) he definitely became!
Recently, I began to notice images of some yellow freaks on various objects, as it turned out later, from this cartoon. It did not surprise me at all that creatures are so popular that any normal person should be disgusted. In a mental hospital, this does not happen, and modern society is rapidly turning into one large ward. I was interested in something else - maybe the creators of this creation came up with some new, fresh moves to debilitate the population? No, the same stamps. And also plagiarism.
And the plagiarism here is from Chip and Dale. Molecular magnifiers/diminishers, crazy villains, stealing giant objects, etc. – all this we have seen in the series “Effect of Scale”, “Mad Dale”, “Blowing Rescue”. Those episodes seemed like the most delusional, but now I realize how much I was wrong. Modern creations cover everything. It is enough to read in the abstract that the action takes place around the theft of the moon, as it is immediately clear that psychotropic substances took place (and in considerable quantities). Even the crazy Professor Nimnul seems quite normal compared to the characters of this cartoon, and the whole realm of the absurd. It is not clear why he is all put in a psychiatric hospital, if such personalities walk free.
In the center of the plot is another “good evil” – a criminal with a repulsive appearance who must be reeducated. And, of course, no responsibility for the past, even if he killed there. It's a cliche, but here's the basement scene. Imagine what it would look like in real life. The terrorist does not have enough money to buy explosives, detonators or anything else necessary to carry out his plan. But close people decide to help him, and give this noble plan the last money. We are sobbing with tenderness.
Many note that the re-education of villains in such cartoons is as playful, fake and unnatural as possible. It's as if the robot's mind has switched some mechanism that changes the program, and it immediately becomes abruptly different. In this cartoon, this is especially noticeable. Some of you have seen some humor here. Apparently the toilet episode? Yes, there is an audience that rumbles like obsessed with fifth-point jokes, faeces, etc. But I'm not one of them.
About the visual component. It's one of the most disgusting puppet cartoons I've ever seen (somethings better than even Braveheart and How to Train Your Dragon). And the point is not even that the main character must necessarily have a repulsive appearance (in accordance with the “cult of ugliness” prevailing in Western animation). The others are no better. Such a number of scary faces can be seen only in satirical cartoons for adults from the series “Captain Pronin”. But it is not necessary to analyze it in detail. Normal, healthy people understand this, but the rest of these disgusting computer dolls will still seem the ideal of beauty.
No grade.
When I first watched Despicable Me, I had mixed impressions. I'm generally satisfied with everything except one thing: boring. Boring and protracted. I like this movie a little bit more now. There are both pros and cons.
Let’s start with the following:
- Great script. He is interesting, especially the ending, and sometimes philosophical, sometimes touching. And the original is to shrink the moon to steal it - . . . quite witty and original, it's something new, isn't it?
- Humor. Rarely in our time will you find a cartoon with such funny, but sometimes ridiculous humor. There was a joke, but I laughed at it.
- Graphics. When I first saw the graphics of Despicable Me, I found it simply chic, and almost the most beautiful at the time when I watched this cartoon for the first time. Of course, there were better graphics, but the graphics of Despicable Me are very original and very beautiful. She's great.
- And the last plus will be the acclaimed “Minions”. Actually, they're really cool. It’s no surprise to me that they’ve gained so many fans and gained so much popularity.
And now the downsides:
- I thought about it, and I thought I'd bring in a little too tight. But I only brought it here because I was bored the first time I saw it. But if you look at “Despicable Me” from a different angle, then it will not seem boring, but vice versa.
- Characters. They are kind of raw (except Minions), dull, it seems that we have seen them before.
In the end, we get a very good cartoon, but in my opinion, Pixar’s masterpieces are like walking to China. It is worth a look, and if you like it, then the whole family. And then judge for yourself. The cartoon is still more entertaining, but in my opinion, it is better to entertain DreamWorks Animation.

In the world of Despicable Me, villains commit atrocities for fame, mostly competing with each other. They find investors who put money into their evil plans, which obliges the villains to make a profit, but everything they do is for fun. After all, how interesting to come up with another insidious plan that will shake the world, and bring it to life!
Gru is a typical villain. He walks in black clothes, drives an intimidating huge car, lives in a sullen black castle house, holds an angry dog, frowns his eyebrows. He has a shiny bald spot and a long, sharp nose. Yes, he is a very nasty type outside.
To implement another villainous plan, Gru adopts three girls. Here the viewer will discover that Gru is not so evil, and somewhere inside he is still a little boy who since childhood dreamed of flying into space and getting the approval of his mother. All his misdeeds, in fact, is a way to get the recognition of a strict mother who never praised him.
As the main assistants of Gru are small yellow creatures - minions. They like to fool around, have fun, are a little stupid and really dilute everything that happens on the screen. The history of the re-education of the villain who will save the world has been used more than once, so it becomes much more important how it will be served and what chip the authors find. The authors found minions, thanks to which they found millions of fans around the world.
The picture came out very bright, interiors and detail please the eye. Perfectly selected musical accompaniment, and Gru has a chic facial expressions. It turned out a kind, funny and beautiful cartoon, which is liked not only by children, but also by adults. Direct hit!
I will not squabble about what cartoons used to be and what they are doing now, for the day to come. But bypass the American cartoon “Despicable me”, also I am not going to. I started to write a few lines about what I saw. Americans are big cunning in terms of titles, plots, inventions and special effects combined. This time they decided to please the people with a story about a villain who allegedly after a certain amount of his life, as well as screen time, turns from evil into good. Name's the villain Gru. He's a real badass. He built his own choirs, does not let anyone there and hooliganize on trifles. Then the boy will take the ice cream, make it a horse, give a happy child and click on the creation, resulting in a soap in foam and the viewer out. He will come to the store, and not wanting to stand in line, will freeze everyone and everything, with his trademark weapons, to buy himself what he needs and will be like. And he will not open his house to the children who came for a very good cause. Gru's eyes are creepy and running, like rabbits. This is the portrait and image of the main character. At the same time, he has a good brain in terms of modern technology. Not bad, but that doesn’t mean he’s the best. As you know, for any strong, there is always the strongest. So the guy in the orange pajamas is gonna teach our weasel in the scarf, which is a lesson. In parallel, the viewer will see a billion yellow creatures called minions. That's the name, for God's sake. These bees are working hard, working hard. The only question is for what purpose and for whom do they work? And they work, as you can guess on Gru. So a billion brainless creatures work for an evil uncle. This is a sad philosophy. It probably applies to our lives, but it doesn’t make it any easier. And in the rebirth of the same Gru, somehow can not believe. That's a bit cunning, bitch. It's soft, it's hard to sleep. The question is, for what target audience and with what spiritual calculation and message was this cartoon created? If in order to propagate aggression and anger into the minds of little men, in order to completely kill all human qualities in man, then the goal has been achieved. But if for the purpose of spiritual enrichment, the enemy shell passed by it. Moral: watch old Soviet cartoons and do not buy a beautiful picture, because you will have to pay the Hamburg bill: soul!

I decided to do research on films so generously gifted by the public in their time.
I do this in order to protect myself and young parents from watching this masterpiece.
"Despicable Me" is a family comedy. Think carefully about the meaning of these words. Family - this means that dads will not be bored with references to action movies, moms-fake sentimentalism (the usual American move-prayer of girls is so worn that it no longer touches), and daughters-now recognized toilet humor, humor from the series "he is unpleasant-we are funny", and from a series of mentions of "adult" words like "shit", "cool".
Comedy means that you will be funny at best, but you will neither worry about the characters nor sympathize, in short, neither you nor your child this cartoon will not teach anything good.
Of the heroes, you can note the sensational minions (as if there were no gnomes and chipmunks before), the villain Gru, who later became good, the self-confident Victor, to whom Gru, according to the expression of one of the girls, “kicked the butt.” Thank you for not ass.
Bottom line: movie-fast food, which peeple sips and will require more. And we got the second part, then another spin-off and the third part will be... The ugly me, like Shrek, will not finish until he has worn himself out.

“The highest happiness of life is the certainty that you are loved.” – Victor Hugo
"Despicable Me" is a cartoon that does not leave its viewers indifferent and, despite the absurdity of the plot, causes certain feelings in each of us: both warm, overflowing with kindness and tenderness, and those that the creators would like least to evoke. The fact is that I, like probably each of you, was primarily discouraged by the main characters. And if the children selling cookies were quite typical of American cartoons, and the persona of supervillain-superpope after hardening Tim Burt’s gloomy and Disney’s extremely nosey characters did not cause much surprise, then the minions made me think carefully. Who are they? Where did they come from? The final question is why is that called? I didn’t find any answers, though.
Minions. These are charming creatures, which, as people say, neither fish nor meat. They do not have a definite anatomy: they can be both two-eyed and small non-cyclops; some may have a chic mane, and some are content with a few sticking out hairs or, otherwise, are not content at all. They are servants and at the same time guinea pigs of the central villain Gru; they are never discouraged and quite satisfied with their situation.
Minions are negative heroes, but despite this, no viewer will say that these creatures caused him negative emotions. But, on the other hand, people who like to stare at more or less realistic characters can take the cartoon and its entire component as what is usually called “peeple hawait”, i.e. what difference does it make to show, as long as the viewer brings income and fame. Whether they will be right or not is hard to say. But I want to focus on something else: meaning.
The plot of this cartoon, as I said earlier, is absurd. The gloomy and slippery type in the person of Gru Mexon learns about the incredible villainy in Egypt, namely the theft of the pyramid. Then he learns that it was the work of a certain Vector who owns a diminutive. Through brief considerations, Gru concludes that it is necessary to adopt three sisters. With their help, Mexon decides to steal the diminutive and is going to commit the greatest crime of all ages and peoples: stealing the moon. But his plan gets out of hand when he begins to feel sympathy for children and becomes attached to them as a result. Then the viewer can think about the power of love, which can melt the heart of even the most callous person, about the fact that each of us has its own weakness, that children are the flowers of life, etc. It seems to me that this is the meaning of Despicable Me, and such a bad plot is only a push for the flight of the imagination of children.
The first time I started watching this movie, I thought, what nonsense! I found him incredibly boring and stupid. But more recently, I decided to watch it again from start to finish and realized that, in principle, it is quite funny, and I really liked the topic of children (which I did not even suspect the first time). In general, the cartoon is quite colorful and bright. It is recommended to watch in the evening after a hard working day for relaxation and cheering up.
This cartoon is not from the "0+" series, so only children's logic will understand. It's from a completely different, good series - "0+ means for the whole family!" He's not too young, but he's not too old either. I'll probably take it apart. Let's start with the plot:
Plot
There was a villain. He had an army of yellow idiots, a huge lab, a bunch of different inventions. But he wasn't enough! Our hero wanted the moon. And you need a rocket to get it. It takes money to build it. The bank doesn't give money. To give, you need to show the main banker a diminution (of course, stolen). And this diminutive stole from this villain a boy in his pajamas who thinks he's the villain of all time. It's too complicated. But our hero comes up with a brilliant plan: he takes three orphans from the orphanage who, without knowing it, will help steal the diminutive. I’m not going to tell you, go ahead.
Now next:
Heroes
Gru (he is our main character)
Typical villain. It’s not enough for him. (I’ve already written about it) He wants the moon, give it to him on a silver platter!
He has a very feminine grace. In general, he's only kind to minions. He does not regret the rest.
Vector (aka boy in pajamas)
Stupid unwise who can't even change his pajamas. I used a mathematical term instead of a name. I can't say much more about him.
Girls (Margot, Edith, Agnes)
Three girls with different interests. Margot is a fan of cartoons (judging by Lorax on the sweater, and Nemo on the same sweater from the second part). Edith is a lover of horror stories and black humor. Agnes - likes the Ones.
Minions (yellow idiots)
They have a very developed herd sense. Sometimes they hurt others and themselves. Kids, what to say.
Next:
Soundtrack
Beautiful music! Beautiful Williams! Everything's fine!
So, the conclusion: a good cartoon for the whole family! Good to see you!
Take me, far away, anywhere As long as it`s fun, fun, fun, fun Fun, fun, fun, I wanna go!
This summer, after taking my exams, I watched movies before I went home that I still didn’t take the time to see. Some brought a pleasant impression and remembered, others - horrified and forgotten immediately, and some - became a real discovery and became my favorite. The main cartoon of this summer (including the sequel) was Despicable Me!
Life is full of disappointments! But not for me!
Gru is a seemingly ordinary middle-aged man who does not like to interfere in the affairs of other people, and if he interferes, tries to make sure that the memories of him remain forever. None of his neighbors even suspect that Gru is a real supervillain who loves to commit the most evil deeds! His latest ingenious plan was to steal the moon! And the plan is quite feasible, with the help of Gru's faithful assistant - Dr. Nefario, and a whole army of funny, yellow and endlessly loyal Minions, although this plan can go awry because of 3 orphan girls and one cheeky villain.
I would have had a chance to watch a cartoon in the cinema 3 years ago: we came to Moscow and had a choice of which movie to go to. My family went to Despicable Me, and for some reason I wanted to watch 3D Lord of the Elements - the film seemed boring and long, and besides, I ruined my pants! I still regret not going to the movie with my family! I did not even expect that he would now make such an impression on me: that such a familiar plot can be taught so unusual, vivid and very funny!
Learn the power of Drew's anger!
Gru — seeing him, I was not puzzled: well, so a cute and funny character, can be a villain. Although he was, he was only comical. He tries to act evil, for example, to kidnap “famous” things, rude children, flattery without queue, burst balloons, etc. You can immediately understand that he is not as bad as he wants to seem when he greets each of his minions by name, always beside Dr. Nefario, helping in his dangerous experiments, dreams of flying to the moon, and, of course, when he takes care of orphan girls!
Kyle! It's not feed! These are our guests!
Margot, Edith, and Agnes are charming girls, but unfortunately orphans living in Miss Hattie’s horrible shelter, trying to sell cookies. Thanks to this cookie, Gru decides to adopt them, but he did not expect what it will lead to. After all, the girls are like sisters, but very different – Margot, as the oldest, most responsible and prudent. Edith likes to get into trouble, slap on puddles and fire weapons; Agnes is the smallest of these three, the most impressionable and loves unicorns. Together, they do ballet, destroy Gru’s house, have fun in the amusement park and like to listen to a very cute fairy tale about kittens.
And what about the main antagonist - here I would single out not the stupid Vector, who cares only about cookies, jokes and eccentric inventions, but his father - the director of the Bank of Evil, who was really intimidating when he crushed an apple with one hand ... And Vector was a real clown of this film, starting with his first scene with squid, then when he counted a dollar for a long time, and when he reduced his bathroom by the Redeemer.
Now, to my favorite part is Minions! I don’t even remember in cartoons (if I’m wrong, remind me) such cute and charming characters, and there were a lot of them, speaking in an incomprehensible language, and to which we would immediately fall in love! Small, yellow, in funny glasses and identical blue jumpsuits, the Minions assist Gru in his supervillain lab. In addition, he is not only engaged in weapons and participate in experiments, but also yoga, shopping, work around the house. Wonderful and hilarious characters - I'm glad there will be a separate film about them!
It should also be mentioned about Dr. Nefario, a brilliant scientist and friend of Gru, who seems deeply immersed in his business and does not like to be distracted from him, and about mother Gru, a lover of karate and share children's photos of his son!
What do you doin in the back, aah?
What do you doin' in the back, aah?
You should be dancing, yeah.
Dancing, yeah!
I’ve mentioned a lot of great humorous situations before, and the humor was great! The soundtrack of the cartoon was also beautiful - the musical accompaniment of composer Farrell Williams. And of course - funny songs - Despicable Me, Fun, Fun, Fun, Prettiest Girls and the legendary song Bee GeesYou Should Be Dancing, played during the final dance!
Mom, I'll go to the moon someday.
- Too late. They stopped sending monkeys there.
Despicable Me - all summer I regret that at the time I did not go to the movies. And I'm glad that such a great cartoon did not pass by me and was the first summer discovery! And I was looking forward to it!
In this review, we will talk, perhaps, about one of the best cartoons of our time. You have the right to disagree with me, but I attribute it to the best because of the good idea and great humor. “Despicable Me” is an animated film by Illumination Entertainment studio from producer Christopher Meledandri, who gave you the first 2 parts of “Ice Age”.
According to the plot, there is an archizlod Gru in the world, who has an army of workmen (minions) who help to do evil. But at one point, Gru has an opponent who steals the pyramid of Cheops, and in response, our villain decides to steal the moon. The plot may seem crazy, but it is a cartoon, which means everything is fine.
What do you think is the main highlight of the movie? Plot? Nope. Maybe good morale for kids? Not either. Well-drawn computer graphics? And there it is! And the main advantage of the cartoon is minions! These little yellow, hard-working people who speak a strange language and make crazy jokes are just amazing. Yes, except for minions, the cartoon is good, but these guys make it chic with their humor.
“Despicable Me” is a great cartoon, which has a lot of good humor, a cute plot and amazing minions. In history, you can find not many cartoons that will please not only children, but also their parents. I recommend this cartoon to people of all ages and preferences in movies. After watching, you will love minions as much as I did.

“Competition ensures the best quality of products and develops the worst qualities of people. ?
What does not make people want to be the best? Competition plays an important role in the development of the whole world and does not bypass any of us who would like to surpass others in something. That's what happened to Gru. Fostering a dream of fame, recognition and status as the “supervillains of the world”, Gru faces a strong competitor – Vector. Both set out to steal the moon, and this is where the fight begins. Both villains are interesting in their own way and not at all nasty. And special attention deserves, of course, Gru's little assistants - minions. These charming creatures will delight with their mini-adventures and give a sea of positivity to the audience.
However, things begin to change with the arrival of three orphan girls in the life of our criminal macho. First of all, Gru himself changes, in which we will see a kind and caring person. The solution of the dilemma that arises in front of the main character is very interesting to watch from the sidelines and draw your own conclusions.
This made me think that it is really possible to change a person for the better. Sincerity, tenderness and trust on the part of dear people can in almost any way awaken the brightest essence.
Despicable Me is not a nasty cartoon worth watching. Crazy positivity and good mood after watching are guaranteed. : I also want to praise the details that make the film even more interesting. For example, the coincidence of the ticket number for the performance of the girls with the landing on the moon – 072069, or a joke about the Bank “Lehman Brothers”, which has a historical foundation, is worth a lot.

Only after reading the title, it immediately becomes clear that in the cartoon some villain will become kind. Seems like everyone's got it. But here everything is shown so interesting and exciting that the viewer of any age will be satisfied after watching.
The plot tells about a villain named Gru, who at a decent age, but despite this, strives to become a “bad” N1, eclipsing a young competitor. Along the way, we get acquainted with a whole crowd of characters, and each has its own unique and not unique character. The cartoon is filled with great meaning, showing that there are things more important than evil.
Of the characters I want to mention... Minions! These little yellow men, something - constantly mumbled in some incomprehensible to us, a simple mortal language, amusing the viewer the whole film. And even the main antagonist of the cartoon is very funny. And the Russian voiceover was very liked - the actors seem to get used to their characters.
And the animation, and the soundtrack, and 3D - all on top! I didn't find any negatives. There are cartoons that consist entirely of stamps, but ideals such as “Despicable Me” are very rare.
Despicable Me is very suitable for family viewing. He will make children laugh and teach them good things. I recommend everyone to watch.
In connection with such hype around the release of the second part of this cartoon (after all, more than $ 800 million!), I decided to watch the first part of Despicable Me.
Gru is a villain. He has a new superplan to steal the moon. But competitors do not sleep and Vector steals from Gru one detail, to get to which Gru can only with the help of 3 orphan girls, whom he adopts purely for the cause. But...
Oh my God, this is the best movie in years! I haven't laughed in a long time. And it was not just a smile, but a real laugh in the voice. There are just funny situations, there are phrases of heroes, from which you just laugh to the bottom. Many positive emotions were given by the Miniens, small yellow creatures and Gru’s assistants. It gets funny from the start, and then it doesn’t stop. The jokes are understandable to adults and children. Great humor! A lot of people will learn.
I like how all the characters are depicted - in appearance the character is already visible. And this is the case when disproportionate bodies do not look disgusting and frightening.
I can't help but note the kindness of "Despicable Me." This cartoon shows us that in any callous and evil person, and indeed in any of us, there is a kindness and love that one only needs to be able to discover. Not all people who are terrible on the outside are the same on the inside. And here it is clear that everything goes from childhood, and parents play an important role in the formation of children. But that is true if you go deep.
I do not want and will not write too much, because it will be only words of delight and praise.
Despicable Me is an incredibly funny, kind, but just a wonderful cartoon! You will not regret it!
At one time, in 2010, I reacted to this cartoon with some skepticism. And there were reasons for that: so many computer cartoons have already been filmed, good and not so, and from this brainchild Illumination Entertainment what to expect? However, I still overcame the skepticism and watched the cartoon.
What about "Despicable Me"? The supervillain commits insane and large-scale crimes: stealing the Eiffel Tower, etc. But suddenly a young villain appears, stealing the pyramids in Egypt. And Gru decides to steal the moon – all in order to become the main supervillain of the world.
But everything changes when three girls appear in his life: Margo - intelligent and reasonable, Edith - a restless and a fan of horror stories, and baby Agnes - a lover of unicorns. At first, Gru tries to use them for his own purposes, for which he adopts girls. But gradually he becomes attached to them, and he manifests goodness and responsibility. Now he has to decide: did he do the right thing all his life?
Simple, but quite good for a children's cartoon story. More than that: for what depth, there is Pixar. Instead, it's an adventure! And they are, and in many, and in the presence of chic special effects. The tricks are made at a high level, and the picture pleases the eye.
Humor in the cartoon is also present - there are many jokes, and they range from subtle humor in the European style (this is not surprising, since the authors of the cartoon are French), to rude wit. For most jokes responsible minions - yellow creatures-henchmen Gru. Over their tricks it is impossible not to laugh to colic. No, seriously: minions are the funniest thing in "Despicable Me"
In general, Despicable Me left an impression as a pleasant cartoon with a good story, characters and special effects, as well as an easy and convenient morality: it is never too late to admit that you did wrong all the time, and start life again.
