The action of the picture seems to be developing in the mid-50s. A decade earlier, a group of guerrillas had dumped the corpses of German soldiers in a local lake — and here they are, driven by revenge, returned to deal with their abusers. At first, killing the stupid girls who decided to swim in the lake, they soon increased their requests and went straight to the village, where, without ceremony, they began to sow chaos and no weapons took them when the brave locals decided to fight back.
This is the short story of this film. However, we can say that it is more complete and will not tell you at all desire. Well, maybe you can pay attention to the events of the war - if you wanted to. I don’t want to – I have never seen a more delusional display of military operations anywhere before. A few explosions, shooting from machine guns, when the actors recruited on the ad in the nearest corner did not even try to play something more or less believable. And most of the time allocated to this flashback, the director preferred to show the love story of a local girl and a German soldier than the war, apparently believing that this is the most important thing.
The main thing in some ways and it turned out – only there was no sense that it was worth throwing it away – and the film would have lost absolutely nothing. Maybe even the opposite – would have lost that truly delusional line about a zombie soldier and his daughter, which he so diligently protected from his colleagues. Where is it seen, except in fresh paintings for romantic girls, so that the dead have some remnants of humanity? Zombies only want to eat, they do not remember anything that they had in life and methodically move towards their goal – or death. And then I wanted to yawn, looking as a girl with a completely indifferent expression and rejoiced at the arrival of her daddy, and urged not to kill him.
Yes, the girl - she is still forgiven, but adults should be scolded for such a hulking game. Just uttering a text - it is not necessary for this mind much, and to show at least something - no one even wanted to try. No, one still wanted - a one-eyed zombie, showing some rudiments of acting. Nothing more was required for his role - but he stood out from the rest of his tribesmen. As against the background of the living, for which there was no sympathy and it was absolutely indifferent whether they were eaten or not. For some reason, I wanted the first – they themselves are guilty, so it was not good for them to act in a non-Christian way, not giving rest to the souls of the dead.
Well, it is worth mentioning the work of make-up artists - since this is a movie about zombies. If there were make-up artists at all, which is doubtful. They smeared green and red face paint and decided that this is the pinnacle of skill, every viewer immediately guessed that these people are bloodthirsty monsters thirsty for human blood. Not monsters - under the paint very well visible very pretty faces.
And the question arises – who had the money drawn to pay Sergei Vizgunov for the transfer? Well, this is understandable - Jonathan, known in certain circles lover of the most passable thrash, pretending to be a horror movie.
