How long ago I dreamed of watching this movie! I always put something aside, forgot, relayed, but deep down it was interesting: what was filmed there in 2006, that the melody “Out of the access zone” still rings in my ears?
So I'm starting to watch. Immediately I feel a feeling of severe discomfort from crappy lipsing: i.e. the characters do not fall into the words that the actors then voiced for them. Well, you can get used to it. Then the story begins, and with it some questions to what is happening:
Why can’t the heroes arrange a meeting, and in case of a delay, call each other back on a spare phone? And why are they always late? After all, the causes of late sucked out of the finger a little more. The boss at work talked, the groom of the limousine too painstakingly chooses... And sometimes the writer becomes so lazy that the characters begin to be late. I was 20 minutes late, 30, an hour late. Aren't we human? You can be 2 hours late, so even more romantic!
Next: Heroes don’t develop and they have a mess in their head, is that how it should be?
The hero of Tsyganov thinks about the ex and does not know whether to throw out or not a photo with her, then day and night dreams of Masha - a girl whom he has never seen in his life. And all at the same time. Look, man, do you have an ex or Masha? To whom is love? The final violin creaks when... the hero does a very important action for which it is unclear. I don't get it. Whether for the sake of the ex, or for the sake of Mary (whom he had never seen), or for the love of Peter. But in general, looking at his tired meaningless look, rare incoherent phrases, like a moo, lack of self-respect and suffering on the spot, it seems that he is just stupid. Well, a stupid man is a stupid fate, everything is logical. How do I feel about such a hero?
Masha. Apparently, she is a creative person with a vulnerable soul, love for Peter with his creaking wickets, a small “dumb” and, in short, not like everyone else. But all this happens against the background of regular delays to work, a kind of humor (Camedy Wuman, probably, will appreciate, the rest are not very), inadequate behavior towards the authorities, disrespect for the person - makes him wait for an hour, although he actually wants to return your phone to you. In other words, I see the negative in her actions.
Against this background, the line of Masha and her fiancé looks good. Well, it does. Confused, dulled, in life there were no more relationships, so it is quite difficult to put an end and say “everything” to a person with whom 10 years together. But besides this line, almost all of Masha’s behavior is the infantilism of the most common spoiled girl. Nothing but strange outfits distinguishes her from millions of others living in St. Petersburg, Omsk, and, God forbid, New York or Las Vegas. Why then should I empathize with her?
Peter's plot is short, naive and as if not completely self-confident. There are scenes with bums and Mashkovs that are needed for nothing. Like, to reveal the soul and depth of the great St. Petersburg, but in fact nothing gives the plot, and sometimes even compromising it! Here's the hero throwing away pictures of his ex. And it would seem: hurrah! Step forward! I'm sad, I forgot, I'm ready to move on! But then somehow he comes back and takes all the pictures back. I'm a little confused. What was that and why? Even in the Eurotour and American Pies, the heroes with grinding forget the former and somehow lived on. And this is a romanticized porridge in the head. An amazing phenomenon!
Disclosure of heroes. I want to say that the creators need to understand: the heroine, grinning creaking at night on the St. Petersburg gate, is a strange scene of revealing the character.
If you cut all the scenes that do not play any role in the plot, you get a short film for half an hour. It is funny that such a short meter will lose almost nothing in its artistic value.
In short, just as I was surprised by the success of 50 Shades of Grey, I was also confused by the general (mostly among ladies, of course) sympathy for Peter FM. Although it is hard not to note that the film, with all its naivety, was made with love.
Masha, the host of the radio station “Peter FM”, once on the crossing loses his mobile phone, which is raised by Maxim – a young architect who was called to work in Germany. However, he is not sure that he needs it. In addition, in St. Petersburg, he is held by an ex-girlfriend, the pain of parting with whom still torments his soul. And now he has a new mission to return the phone to its owner, which was not the easiest task.
Peter FM is a heartfelt kind film about love in the beautiful scenery of the city on the Neva. I like this film for its lightness, kind of naivety and pleasant romantic atmosphere. Throughout the film there is no sense that the story could end badly, the plot is quite predictable. But this does not prevent you from watching the fate of the heroes and their history. The film can be interesting to watch with the other half or just as a romantic adult fairy tale.
Very soulful film. From the very beginning, it immerses in the atmosphere of a large but cozy city. Summer, roofs, canals, couples in love... Peter falls in love with himself. Everything is permeated with the energy of youth, love of life, creativity.
I was impressed by the camera work. Footage random passers-by, urban views, wandering through the streets - and the effect is created, as if the story of Masha and Maxim is woven into the life of Peter and just accidentally snatched from the stream.
In general, the city is shown to be very beautiful. Russian cities are often portrayed in our cinemas as very gloomy and gray. It all depends on who is watching and how they are looking. In 'Peter.FM' the cameraman was able to show beauty, romance, smiling faces - and this is how one should see this world.
In 'Peter.FM' reflects just the time when guys and girls called random numbers to meet. No social media, no photos. It was possible to fall in love with the voice and communicate heart to heart, honestly telling each other about life.
Despite its lightness, the film still keeps the viewer waiting, keeping the intrigue until the very end. To the heroes there is a friendly sympathy and even friendly empathy. And you know, love stories like this are magical, but there's still a lot of excitement.
I think this film is popular with those who love a soulful movie, which is warm inside. Those who remain romantic and can do something, in the opinion of others, illogical for the sake of dreams and souls.
Summer. In St. Petersburg, where, as you guessed, the events take place, the fates of two young people are intertwined. Is it an accident or not? Everyone in the film has to make a choice and accept it.
He is an architect, as well as a minor character in one of Balabanov's films, he is offered a job in another country, and he agrees. There are a few days left before departure and a couple of unfinished business, but our artist can not pull himself together and make such a rather responsible and big step up the career ladder, suffers from a breakup with a girl and shrugs with uncertainty, spending his last days wandering around his beloved city.
She is light, romantic, works as a radio host, and at the same time completely disorganized, irresponsible, frivolous and even problems at work can not affect her correction. But this does not spoil her, she does not annoy, even though she has long lived her teenage years. She lives with her overly serious and hyper-responsible fiancé, who loves her, but tries to correct her behavior and channel energy into a creative channel. This is 2006, a completely different time. With her inattention and begin to meet a man, whose voice she will hear on the phone of his fiancé.
The actors of the first magnitude who have already taken place, give such a light, summer canvas of history a pleasant weight and structure.
The soundtrack is wonderful and light as summer rain. A film from childhood, which in every possible way promoted STS, according to which it was shown.
10 out of 10
The first acquaintance with this film occurred in childhood, as a child, constantly spinning advertising on television, and somehow in the subcortex of the brain stuck this name. After a while, I finally got to this picture. Of course, you can not say that the film from the first minutes is breathtaking, and bribes some atmosphere, but as you move along the storyline, this opinion changes. The cameraman shows the city, beautiful buildings with a great history, also does not bypass the main characters, playing with their large and distant plans ' cat mouse & #39; and this further warms up interest, and here you are waiting, well, when they meet, it would seem, well, that very moment, however, the stars decide otherwise. It is difficult to say something about the actors, because, in my opinion, the main idea of the film is in this romantic atmosphere, in simplicity, and the actors only help to delve into the process of viewing and imbue with this lightness and human simplicity, where the fates of different people are closely intertwined, but at the same time, it seems that the entire cast is selected, so to speak, to the place, and no one gets out of the film. To sum up, in my opinion, this film is somewhat banal, and its main meaning is simple human trifles. When, not knowing a person, but only hearing his voice, you can fall in love, and despite all the pros and cons of everything - still meet.
So many people, and the only one who is needed is lost again. . . -
St. Petersburg, like many other metropolises, is a city of thousands of destinies, which were formed from millions of meetings, sometimes purposeful, but more often random. And it is amazing that many of them, without knowing it, are intertwined between us.
With lyrical comedies in our modern society trouble, often comes out or plagiarism, or vulgar with frank toilet humor, and absolutely impossible films. Hope for Peter FM was not at all, expectations at zero. But the soul asked for lightness and I gave this film a chance. Thank you so much for that.
What catches your eye in the first place? Well, of course, St. Petersburg itself, the film was clearly shot with great love for this city, its streets, canals, bridges and, of course, the Neva. Contrary to common stereotypes, the sun often shines over Peter, which is in the film, and in the rain he is also beautiful. How do you find such different heroes in such a city? And then there is the real magic, the magic of the city and its people, which is very subtly conveyed by the film crew.
What is a romantic story without two souls looking for each other in a city of millions? Ekaterina Fedulova has a very airy image, she is like a girl from dreams, flitting around the city, living in music, giving warmth to others and believing in love, while her chosen one wants to immerse her in a world where material wealth reigns. Yevgeny Tsyganov at first glance seems down to earth, but he has a dream, unlike Catherine, he is surrounded by very different people, more creative, who fully supported his desire to become a famous architect.
': When faced with a choice, just flip a coin. It won't give you the right answer, but when the coin is in the air, you already know what you're hoping for. '
The story may seem banal at first glance, but its execution is just fine. The main characters almost head-to-head with each other will not collide to finally happen the happy ending, which everyone dreams of. There was a place for interesting third-party characters that meet on the way at each. And each of these characters in its own random, but not random at the same time, and of course, in St. Petersburg elegant.
It is impossible not to mention the music, in the end, the film is called Peter FM, which means that there is clearly a radio involved, the main character of the DJ on the popular St. Petersburg radio, and to create the right mood - some words are not enough, you need a song. The soundtrack is good, there will definitely be a song that you will want to listen to later.
Peter FM is an incredibly light film, after which on a summer day you want to walk in the rain, and in a colder time to sit on a windowsill and dream. It is not bad to dream and it is bad not to dream. Cinema literally envelops you with faith in the good and that all accidents in the world are not accidental, all roads will definitely lead you to the right person.
A film with a good idea, in which almost everything is done poorly.
St. Petersburg (preposterously referred to here as Peter) is one of the main advantages of this film. And, in principle, the only thing you can see it for. By the way, the city is not shown in detail - quite the opposite. But common strokes are indicated and the general mood works. Of course, for the sake of fairness, it is not quite correct to consider this kind of beautiful scenery the merit of the authors, because it is bad to remove such a contrasting, textured city is almost impossible. And yet, it must be admitted that Russian cinema is filmed normally both for camera work and for the picture as a whole. The music also goes well with the overall light mood of the film. Nothing bothers you when you watch it and that’s good. The jokes are very simple, but sometimes funny.
The focus is on the allegedly romantic story of architect Max and radio host Masha. The main problem here is that there is no normal study of the characters and their motivation. They talk and think like rag dolls. For this reason, what is happening on the screen does not cause interest and any worries about their future fate. The actors are trying to play something, but it looks as unconvincing and empty as possible. And it's not their fault. The script, which is based on a curious idea for youth-entertainment cinema, was made after sleeves (what is the only relationship between Masha and her fiancé). In many ways, by the way, even with the same quality as the main characters, the film could be very well diversified with really interesting characters of the third plan. But no, instead, the most common images of stereotypical eccentrics.
It is a pity, but the film as a whole seemed hopelessly empty and certainly does not cause any bright positive impressions. It's more like a feeling of frustration.
However, this is not the worst Russian film that can be seen in the company of a girl.
Guys! I read your opinions here: positive, with sympathy, with condescending approval. But I do not agree with most of you that the film is light, airy, like marshmallows or ether, that it does not reach a serious level, does not touch, does not move.
First, the film is made at a high professional level.
Then: it certainly echoes 'The Walk' (2003). Only much better. The same exact hit with Yevgeny Tsyganov, the same charming Kirill Pirogov in an important episode. The same Petersburg, only it is shown here cleaner, warmer, brighter. The same motley gypsies flashed.
And, thirdly, a very serious basis, background, background and Masha and Maxim, very accurate characters, because they are young professionals, intelligent, energetic, cheerful, who have a conscience, a sense of proportion and taste for life, but who are difficult and unclear: what next? Yes, Masha’s fiancé has everything for 10 years ahead, but only this is just a complacent moron from 'a good family', with an education and a good place. The most boring type, without taste, without a sense of life. Dead.
Behind the external mischievous infantility, the charming Masha has a healthy, whole, lively, subtly feeling nature. She has a conscience. Maxim everything is also thorough, everything is real and everything is always serious, he is a professional, strong and hardworking, with a head. Although he is not very good at negotiating, restraining, tricking, persuading. This is the vulgar fool, the Machine Groom, all this is in abundance: the ability to negotiate, and who should be deleted from the list of guests invited to the wedding, and someone must be invited, and what kind of limousine should be at the wedding, and what restaurant, and what rings, and how to dress it Masha, what she should wear and what not. The groom has a very vulgar and very early, almost innate, ability to understand life and people.
And Maxim... Although he looks with his backpack, in his blue jacket and sullenly concentrated face against the background of so flatteringly presented, with vulgar bourgeoisness and gloss, the front Peter is baggy, ridiculous and almost idiotic. Like a Harlem rapper. Weasel from the province. But it's just provinciality and youth. You don’t have to look at this to find out the character and strength of Maxim.
This film is much better than the dull, very flat and faded 'July Rain' and noticeably better 'Walk'. It's much stronger and more talented.
Behind the external transparent lightness is a deep subtext. This is a film about the living and immediate, hardworking and thorough, able to enjoy life among the faded, pale dead. Love and life. Life, not vulgarity. Terrible and this vulgar, Masha's boss, Felix Ivanovich. He also has to feed the family, pay for an apartment, for expensive training in the violin or painting of his child, for his (or her) English, for his (or her) future study in a decent and expensive university, a luxurious future wedding, a comfortable future apartment. He is a deeply family man, hopelessly cowardly and depravedly cynical. And he's not a professional. There are so many characters in our lives, right?
Watch and review light and transparent, lyrical and so real 'Peter FM'.
A movie with a soul. Peter, love and hope. Phrases that became winged. And the music...
A film about truth. To myself first and foremost. About the hope of sincerity and a real suitable person nearby.
Romantic St. Petersburg streets, rain, smiles, tears, cigarettes... the simple life of ordinary people. And that's the thrill of this picture.
Thank you for the opportunity to cheer up and accept the idea that life can turn at any second. Open up new horizons and let you believe in something worthwhile.
I don’t know if this movie is a cult movie or not. Hardly. The title song is a cult song, and the film is... the song is more famous than the movie! Stop on the street by a random passer-by and ask: ' Know the song 'Out of the access zone'?' - the passer-by will answer: 'A, yes, I know!' - especially if you listen to it. But ask: 'Do you know what movie it's from?' - passers-by will most likely fall into a stupor and will be painfully remembering the title. Perhaps he will eventually remember and even say, 'I once watched'.
It was prologue. The review is different.
What's this movie about? No, it's not rhetorical. I'm seriously asking, is that what he's talking about?
We'll answer at the end. While you’re thinking, I’ll ask a leading question: can you describe this film in one word?
Got it! It's also hard. Good! Then we will play in 'Danetki'. Is it possible to say about this film that it is obsessive?
'Intrusive? No, come on! I think it's the opposite.'. So it's not about fate. Not people looking for themselves in a big city. Not about a phone novel or even just a sketch from the life of a St. Petersburg radio station. This is all presented to the viewer in plain text.
Next leading question. Could this movie have come out today? Towards the end of the 2010s... A clamshell phone? Oh, slack? Radio? Action on the street: ' three minutes by mobile phone absolutely free!'...
You feel what I'm getting at? And then the rain, and the wedding troubles, and new acquaintances, and the upcoming departure ... The characters of the film are about the same age as I am now. At Costic, at Masha, at Maxim - they already have teenage children in all. I myself was about thirteen when I first watched the film, and today’s sixth-grader-seventh grader will ask the question: Mom, Dad, what kind of life was when you met?' – you know, I would have played him this film if I were my parents!
Since I'm talking about it... I remember, ten years ago was already in vogue nostalgia for the 90th. And today is the end (scarce to say) of the 2019-th year - and I would not say that the taste is also warmly remembered "two thousandth". Zero! Why? That's another question. I can answer, but not here. This is no place.
Back to the movie.
Classic genre, cult thing George Danelia about Moscow. Start retelling her story and try to answer the same question: 'What is it about?' And #39: Grandma, Grandpa, show me a movie about the time you met! '
Did you draw an analogy? Yes, the director is not Danielia! Yes, young Gypsies - not young Mikhalkov! And in general, the national cinema is not the same.
Anyway, I'm tired. Stop thinking, think for yourself what to do. I will add only two words to the question of . Best of all played in this film in my opinion Alexey Barabash. You will remember, in the scene of the explanation with Maria - she as if his ice water from a bucket rolled him in a suit directly branded! You will hear Stanislavsky shouting from a parallel world: 'I believe!' And, of course, the famous cameos Mashkova and Krasko a kind word can not be ignored.
8 out of 10
P.S.: I almost forgot! Are you wondering what one word I used to describe him? It's a nice word . No, I didn't mean to say 'spiritual'! Just nice. Nice movie. What is it about? Nothing.
Here the city will be laid in spite of the neighbor's pawnshop.
A seemingly light film on the themes of St. Petersburg streets and music from the basement of “Chinese pilot Jao Da”. The main character in the plot is mostly silent, occasionally something murmurs under his nose - this is what prevented him from spoiling this film. The rest of the film drags the heroine of Ekaterina Fedulova, passing the world a version of freedom, positivity and originality. It's a girl from the radio.
I liked the film very much, in those years it was still possible to find a decent Russian cinema. In general, such topics should not claim anything, more pretentious songs, a fashionable theme of radio and rhythm. I want to go somewhere without worrying about a new phone. But the topic of mobile in 2006 was still relevant.
A light comedy, however, brings the obvious, but not so simple idea that our life is a rut and not every horse can jump out of it. I'm a little horse. The episodes involve famous actors from different periods of our cinema. And also, apparently, modern stars, about which I know little, because, despite all attempts, in recent years stopped watching our new movie completely.
An hour and a half positive for those who love Peter. Like me.
I watched the movie 12 years after it was released. It was in 2006 in St. Petersburg, since then I want more, but still no way. I even felt the atmosphere and was transported to that time. Soundtracks complement the capital’s architectural psychological motif, directly immerse.
In fact, the second view becomes even clearer and more pleasant. It's not dynamic, but it's peaceful. Why look for action, some kisses (' at least on the cheek') and incredible dynamics? Real life flows like these St. Petersburg rivers slowly.
The film is about ordinary people and how little is needed for happiness: neither a wedding nor a cool contract will replace the warmth and simplicity of communication that the main characters unexpectedly found in each other. They just rush to meetings as if it is their salvation (subconsciously), although still up to some point by inertia hold on to the old life, with which it is extremely difficult to part.
About action: people go about their business and sometimes it is tedious and boring, there, for example: clean up, throw out garbage or work. But this is the salt: in the ordinary and its beauty, in enjoying every moment of our short life, as evidenced by scenes of walking in the rain, rocking the gates in the park (here is more about the girl), about fun with friends, about the fact that we adults will still be children, and the more we retain this spontaneity, the easier it will be for us to experience steep turns. In the midst of stress, isn’t it beautiful?
And of course, the characters of the characters are well revealed: how and what they react to, how they are used to living. In films where there is a lot of movement, it is often very difficult to show the character of a person to the fullest extent, to reveal his essence, because the goal is different (the same plot), and here the goal is precisely a person.
The ending is original and promising (or not – for whom, but for me, absolutely YES). For me, during the film, sympathy and desire to meet were growing, and the hero drowns the phone just at the moment when he says that he would like to see each other, and not just give the trumpet. And they are determined, determined (failures mobilized). And he even called on the radio, although he could have scored everything:' she lost, she is to blame, and she does not know me, in general: she will buy a new one' And their glances at each other spoke for themselves: when they meet, external charm will also certainly arise.
Another point: if not for these unsuccessful arrangements to return the phone, they would not understand each other as people, would not be friends, and perhaps would not be ready to meet immediately: she would get a trumpet and that’s all.
I love films where Russian life is shown without embellishment and where there are many meanings (just a pity that few people are interested in solving them), but they are all somehow tied to a person, everyday life, paradoxically.
Those who like less ' drawn', like 'live' films, i.e. films with an emphasis on real meetings and passion, then there are much more of them (a huge number in contrast to the discussed) - just customized such films, forgive the expression, for the general masses sedate.
In general, I am quietly excited about the film, such films are in short supply.
Among the great variety of films, modern and not so, sometimes there are special: joyously thoughtful, kindly naive, but at the same time vital and piercingly real. "Peter FM" can rightly be attributed to this category of film work.
His plot, although not shining originality, seems quite plausible by the standards of melodrama. Characters are simply impossible not to empathize due to their complex versatility, thanks to their simple and sincere cordiality. And the talent and high professionalism of the cast give the film additional authenticity and depth.
In addition, it is impossible not to pay attention to how musical this film is. Almost every scene is selected soulful Russian soundtrack, perfectly complementing it in mood and atmosphere. The music here is not just a background, meekly and wordlessly overshadowing what is happening on the screen. In Peter FM, music is a full-fledged actor with its own unique inner world and finely organized nature.
But perhaps the most striking character of the film is the northern capital itself. The camera as if by accident, but every time very conveniently, lingering then on the famous architectural masterpieces, then on the cozy shady squares, then on the wide canals of St. Petersburg. The general plans are removed with such a genuine love for northern Venice, with such inspiration that the viewer simply cannot help but feel warm feelings for this unique harmonious city.
"Peter FM" is a good movie to watch from time to time.
Once again, revising Peter FM, I finally decided to write a review of it. It can be safely put on the shelf of my favorites. Why?
Oksana Bychkova created a movie that I want to watch at least once a year, which I do. I'm stocking up on goodies, pouring a mug of hot tea, wrapping myself in a warm plaid and dipping into this wonderful picture.
It's a simple story. Two random people. Two constantly intersecting, noticing, but not familiar. Great acting. Evgeny Tsyganov and Ekaterin Fedulova, wonderfully played their roles, they want to believe, to experience with them. Secondary heroes only complement them, nothing and nothing superfluous.
Magnificent Peter. Perhaps the most important reason why I want to review this film is because of the city that the director showed it. Streets, roofs, bridges. Such a real (and not so) St. Petersburg.
Separately, I want to take the music. Chic, gorgeous, completely suited to this movie, which is stuck in your head for a long time. And most importantly, there are our hits, which is not a little important, as for me.
I can paint a lot more, but I won’t, because I want to immerse myself in viewing faster. The tea gets cold, the plaid lies next to it, you just have to press the start button.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I highly recommend that you watch it and not be distracted by anything else. Only in this way, you will feel all the atmosphericity of this masterpiece (yes, I was not afraid of this word).
10 out of 10
A few years ago I started watching this movie, but after ten minutes I turned it off. I really didn’t like the format and the dialogue. A couple of days ago, I was forced to start watching again, and since there was nowhere to go, I had to accept it. In fact, it was a little better than I thought. There are also disadvantages.
The first thing that catches the eye is the absolutely inappropriate manner of shooting. Not only is the entire action as if accelerated by a couple of frames per second, but operators always choose inappropriate angles. And if the first can still be justified by the desire of the director to emphasize the eternal lack of time in the big city, then on the account of the second I can only assume the unprofessionalism of the film crew.
The dialogue in the picture does not shine with meaning either. The characters look stupid and naive, just like the whole movie. And this despite the fact that the acting is very good. And the actors themselves were very well selected.
But I liked the storyline itself. A really funny romantic story about two good-natured, but some stupid characters who constantly intersect, but can not find each other.
I also liked the music, oddly enough. That’s because I don’t like this kind of music. But it seemed to me that such musical motifs are very suitable for this romantic story.
In fact, after watching, there are ambiguous feelings. On the one hand, the technical component leaves much to be desired. But the story is told very interesting, and the acting game at a height. In general, this picture can be seen for relaxation, but for a long time it will not be remembered.
The film has an amazing idea: a girl falls in love with a stranger on the phone and it changes her whole life. And such a fertile soil was simply filled with template cement.
The main problem is that Masha does not know who Maxim is and what he is. She knows nothing about his motivation. But the viewer knows everything and simply cannot normally empathize with the heroine. Max was not allowed in the movie. It must be fully and completely revealed through telephone conversations.
On the other hand, Kostya is not revealed at all, they try to show him as a boring and ordinary type, but in fact he is the right guy, who eventually turned out to be extreme. The problem of his relationship with the main character is not disclosed at all.
It seems to me that STS was either afraid, or simply did not want to overload the audience with empathy for the characters and just shot such a short series for the masses.
The plot of the film is very simple and to someone it may seem boring, banal and meaningless. A little bit of life, a little bit of chance, a little bit of lyrics.
But in my opinion, this is a mood-creating movie. Sometimes sad, fun, lonely, dreary, painful, joyful, strange, funny - the film leads the viewer from mood to mood, if you were able to get into resonance with him, then you will like the picture, if not - then most likely you will be disappointed.
I liked the film for its slowness, simplicity of plot and ease of perception. I also want to note the excellent camera work and wonderful views of the city.
We are waiting for a meeting, a miracle awaits us.
Wonderful, easy movie. One of my favorites! Simple, but at the same time, there is something to think about.
You can review it hundreds of times, in any state, because it is permeated with the unique atmosphere of Peter, so rainy-romantic and native. Everyone will find here something of their own ... someone will like the city turmoil, and someone incomparably filmed old night Petersburg, which stores people’s experiences and dreams.
They do not leave indifferent the heroes themselves. Masha and Maxim with a lyrical mood cause sympathy, their friends ... looking at them, I want to find in the life of the same loved ones, ' their own people, there is some warmth in the soul, the belief that everything will be ho-ro-sho. The same mood comes from music. It is impossible to restrain a smile, and then more than one day these songs spin in your head, again causing fluttering sensations when you want to run somewhere and enjoy life.
After viewing, there is a pleasant light precipitation, all the problems are forgotten for a while, and the look at them is more optimistic, and most importantly, you want to live. Isn't that an indicator of a good movie?
For the first time I had the chance to watch Peter FM in the distant 2008, when it was staged in a camp theater. But at that time, the chattering company of children, young age and lack of concentration during watching prevented me from fully appreciating this film.
Many years passed, during which I managed to be disappointed in the domestic cinema, but I did not leave the thought that I, in my stereotypical attitude, was wrong somewhere. The other day I saw Peter again. And probably because I didn’t have high expectations for this picture, it impressed me. Impressed primarily with its special atmosphere and external simplicity. The film did not become an ordinary passing melodrama / comedy, the production of which in the world of Russian cinema is put on stream. Not at all. In addition, the film forces to rethink the present moment, because after watching willy-nilly, you think about whether you chose the path of life? Are the right people around you? Is it worth changing something in your life or, on the contrary, leaving everything as it is?
As for acting, I really liked the two main characters. Believe them, they want to empathize. They're sincere and real. You're looking forward to whether there's a happy ending in their story or not. I would also like to note the inclusion in the film of several cameos of famous Russian actors, in particular, Vladimir Mashkov. It was really fun.
And of course, an important role in the film is played by Peter himself - a magical, insanely beautiful city, which, fortunately, I managed to visit.
After watching, I decided to go through the filmography Ekaterina Fedulova and, unfortunately, it turned out that in fact, except for "Peter", she did not star in anything worthy of attention. Unlike Evgeny Tsyganov, for whom this film has become a kind of springboard into the world of cinema.
As a result, we have a pleasant, unobtrusive film that is great to lift the mood, and in combination with a dynamic plot and skillfully selected soundtracks will not let the viewer get bored.

St. Petersburg... Peter, the city on the Neva, whatever you call it... This is the most beautiful, most mysterious city in our huge country!
So back in 2006, it’s scary to think, nine years have passed, I rushed to this film.
Light, gentle, with stunning weather, with beautiful music picture!
There are two characters in the center, only two. Masha and Maxim, two different people living in the same city, each have their own problems, their own thoughts, their own experiences. Each of them is running from something! Maxim to another country, Masha from his inner self.
Their acquaintance in absentia, spontaneously and at a certain moment there is an understanding: how close they are, close in sensation, in relation to everything. It really happens... you don’t communicate with a person in person, you’ve never seen him, you just text or communicate on the phone, and at that very moment you realize that on the other end of the line your person ... Yours. He understands you, shares your thoughts, relationships and he does not care what you look like now or what a funny hat on your head.
The ease of this film is simply fascinating. Heroes walk the same streets, listen to the same music, think about each other, but they are not destined to meet. Their conversations at any time of the day or night will be close to many.
This phone novel ends with a banal problem for modern society (the phone gets lost, the phone goes down).
The end of the film everyone thinks, think for himself!
"It's gonna be okay." Masha found out!!

I saw this movie for the first time when it appeared on the screen. I honestly don’t remember my first impression of him. Maybe because of his age, or maybe because of the specifics of the film itself, there were no thoughts after watching - it seems good, but at the same time not good enough.
The day came when I decided to watch this movie. What can I say about him now that so many years have passed?
That's amazing! Absolutely everything in this film is so harmonious and easy that the mood rises instantly! I have never watched a movie with such ease, forgetting my problems, not thinking about anything. This picture is a kind of cure for the melancholy, because after watching on the soul it becomes insanely good. Peter FM charges with its positive energy, so you want to review it indefinitely.
I want to say a huge thank you to all those who participated in the creation of this picture, and the actors who so wonderfully conveyed the images of their heroes. The musical accompaniment is also beyond praise. Everything in this film is in place.
It would seem so unpretentious film, and we have a lot of positive reviews. I think it's all about atmosphericity. The atmosphere in the cinema, I think, is not the last. As for this film, the atmosphere comes first. Peter is invisibly present with the main characters throughout the film, so majestic, he looks into the frame from the windows, stretches endless roofs into the distance. I would even say that he is one of the main characters, because it becomes simply impossible to imagine the action somewhere else.
And after the atmosphere, we have a story about two people who, apparently, were brought together by fate itself, how ridiculous their acquaintance took place, and how important it turned out to be for both.
Masha is a DJ on the radio, a cheerful and direct girl, undoubtedly kind, charges all listeners of the radio station Peter FM with her positive. She does not want to litter the air with slag, which her bosses constantly present to her, she wants to broadcast to people about something important and unconditionally good. The girl is going to marry her classmate - Kostya, with whom they have been together for eternity.
39 So many people, and the only one who is needed, he is lost again. . . '
Maxim is a talented architect who moved to St. Petersburg, recently broke up with his girlfriend. Having lived on the janitor’s allowance for a sufficient amount of time, his talent is finally noticed and invited to work in Germany.
What connects them? Lost phone and doubts. Doubts about whether each of them should change their lives, whether they really want to. Thanks to each other, the characters realize what is important to them.
This movie is really worth watching. Someone will make you think, someone will dispel doubts. But a good mood from viewing is guaranteed to everyone!

You know, I had a similar situation as the hero in the movie. I loved the girl, and she loved me, and we never saw each other. Of course, we broke up, but periodically watching this movie, I remember the best moment of my life. Even though it's sad.
The action takes place in the most beautiful city of Russia. It would seem that two different characters; DJ Masha and architect Maxim are facing the threshold of happiness. It seems that everything is decided: she sort of decided her fate and he. But before that there is doubt, doubt in everyone, whether to do things on the way to their own happiness.
And all this is happening against the background of city life, life in St. Petersburg. Life in a big, beautiful city. Having never met, the heroes nevertheless penetrate to each other with a certain sympathy, albeit remote. But that's not the point. The fact is that when we love, we change, and when love ceases, we remain a changed loved one, but what does it matter if the person for whom you changed.
Yevgeny Tsyganov was created for this film. His hero is a verbose, courageous, sad man. His happiness is out there, but he doesn't know where. That’s why he’s giving up on the benefits and prospects abroad.
Ekaterina Fedulova and her Masha is a girl who refuses her happiness, because it seems to her monotonous and boring.
Thus, the film raises the question of choice. Either a stable happiness that brings little to our lives, or a search for something different and new, but unknown. Sometimes it's better not to change anything. Another plus of the film is a beautifully shot city.

Life in general is unpredictable, it’s only in the movies everything according to the script.
I have a special attitude towards this film. I remember, during the premiere of the film, back in 2006, in the cinema, he never got, but at home there was a DVD disc, which until today seems to have worn to holes.
Peter FM can watch in any mood, anytime and in any weather. It is light, unobtrusive and so kind! The plot is absolutely simple and simple, in a good way. That is why I am writing my first neutral review of this film, despite the fact that it is one of my favorites.
Of course, if you dig well, you can find some blunders and oversights in it, but you do not want to do this, because the picture bribes with its sincerity, and we see that the director and the entire crew invested their soul in this work.
Pleasant music plays, the camera captures the roofs, puddles and narrow streets of the city; the characters get into ordinary and at the same time a little silly and unrealistic situations ... but the main thing in all this is Peter - the main character in this film.
Here you can feel love in all its manifestations: the love of the heroes for each other, for the city.. the director’s love for the film and for the viewer.
Actors, Yevgeny Tsyganov and Ekaterina Fedulova, then not very famous, look harmoniously in St. Petersburg and in their roles. You look at their heroes, believe them... and somehow even understand why Maxim so does not want to trade his St. Petersburg life, his work as a janitor, for a career as an architect in Germany; and why Masha does not want to associate her life with a promising, but absolutely not her man, Kostya. And then there is a little funny circumstance that turns their lives. The film does not scream, but hints that a miracle can happen in the life of any person.
For the atmosphere and sincerity:

By the way, during a visit to St. Petersburg, I saw a ghost house on the Fontanka, which repeatedly appears in the frame. It’s really cool, like the movie itself.
I watched this movie for the first time, back in the year of release on the big screens. When I went to the cinema, I was disappointed for the first time in my life. I never felt like there was a bad movie in the theater. Why would I think that? Maybe because of the strangeness of the story. Or maybe because of the feeling that the movie was just shot on camera “with his hand”. And there is a feeling that you can also pick up a camera and spy on two young people. But, since this is the debut of director Oksana Bychkova, then do not be too strict. You can immediately see that such a vision is still the work of women, because you feel throwing, doubts, romance, lightness. This is a very atmospheric movie, which led me to review it for the second time.
Plot
So, Maria is engaged to a young man. Throwing, fuss, wedding preparation. And then she runs into people and loses her phone. He is picked up by a young man, Maxim, who, like a noble knight, decides to return him. I would like to mention the acting work of Yevgeny Tsyganov, films with his participation are always pleasant to see, and this film is no exception. He's probably one of the few things that looks organic in this movie. Everything else looks approximately: so take 152, shoot!! and then: stop, removed. But if you understand that everything is basically the play and the work of the director, that everything goes according to the script and is designed. Despite the fact that at a certain point it begins to irritate the moments when the characters, talking on the phone and passing by, still turn around and track each other in the crowd. I do not know what the main idea is: to show how fate can breed and bring people together at the same time. Doubts about your past, present and future. Very pleased St. Petersburg roofs, houses, bridges. The city itself feels good throughout the whole picture. As for the other characters, they are really very different and also very important in their own way.
For the first and second time, I didn’t know if it was worth watching. Something about him always pulls. I would call it an art house or an art house. That always attracts thinkers, dreamers and philosophers.
How many movies can you casually name in which the place of action - the city - is a participant in the plot? Well, maybe there is a “walk” by Alexei Uchitel with the wonderful Irina Pegova and the same Yevgeny Tsyganov. No doubt the classic "Roman Holiday" with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. It is this recognition of places that makes events real, lively and evokes an emotional response: “Yes, I know this place!” I’ve seen it on the show (or was on the tour or... etc.) That’s the kind of movie I think Peter FM does. The atmosphere of love for the city, with its splendor and shabbyness, for people, strange, different, but mostly not bad, forces once again to plunge headlong into a simple story about incipient love.
Surprisingly, there are so many bright episodic roles in this film that you can easily remember the intonations of the voice of a hot dog saleswoman near the subway station, a swindler-grandmother with her 6-20 for a loaf of bread (oh, how prices have risen), a utility worker performed by Tatiana Kravchenko, the program director of the radio station (“I will close this circus!”), Irina Rakhmanova (“Make your face simpler”) and of course a man in sweatshirts and flip-flops (“Give phone!”). I'm so drunk!' by Vladimir Mashkov. And all this is perfectly mounted with the lives of the main characters of the film and soundtracks of songs that are still listening very, very well.
The girl Masha came up with such an interesting image: on the one hand, some non-standard fashionable clothes (panamsk hats, vests with rubber bands, short skirts, etc.), and on the other hand, purity and naturalness are read in almost imperceptible makeup, washed shiny hair. Such a little more infantile Masha is a bewildered woman who is looking for a phone, a shoe, herself and her man in this life. Before our eyes, she grows up, taking a step that requires great courage: coming out of the schedule drawn up by the groom and parents. In my opinion, Ekaterina Fedulova succeeded in this role.
The young architect Maxim (as time has shown, a good actor with a role of macho and charismatics grew out of Yevgeny Tsyganov), sincerely in love with his profession, is verbose, restrained and very cute in what he says and does. Also, as he says. If you think about it, what hooked our heroes on the phone? After all, they had no idea about each other and now they start talking more openly about their experiences and problems. And both liked the voice of the interlocutor, his timbre, intonation, tempo of speech! It turns out that enough, the rest of the imagination finishes. Undoubtedly, the voices of the characters are an important element (and luck) of the plot, otherwise we would not believe in such a story.
Peter himself is very well shot. Peter, not St. Petersburg. Not ceremonial palaces, but former apartment houses and courtyards. Different times of day, allowing light to mask or expose the age of buildings, but never overshadowing the individuality and beauty of their architecture.
It may be several years since the release of the film and the model of phones are different, and young people dress a little differently. Whatever. The atmosphere of the big city, its chosenness, the fullness of the presence of people living here and now – this remains and may be the fate of the classics of Russian cinema. Shall we see?

It is one of the few Russian films that I really like. There are no adult jokes that are now so popular in some domestic films, released at least in the last seven years since the release of Peter FM; there is not all that “fashionable” senselessness, because here everything is just the opposite: here everything is real, damn cute, incredibly kind, unusually beautiful, and St. Petersburg is what it is – impregnated with real life.
This story is about people who may never meet. They just know they have each other. They know each other’s voices, names, and connect them at first only one city, and then a simple mobile phone, accidentally lost by the main character Masha – a DJ almost on the main radio station of the city, and found by the architect Maxim, who once just called and then again, and again. Because he likes to listen to the voice on the other side; because a special connection has been created, and the idea of returning the phone to the hostess is almost exhausted. But the dates were scheduled, familiar roads were traversed in a new way, but the fates of the main characters were not ready for this yet, because they needed to fully understand their difficult lives, so much changed after the first call.
One of my favorite artists once said you shouldn’t look at a person because you should fall in love with your eyes closed. The story in this film speaks to just that – a love created by a voice alone, not by looks and evaluations of appearance, whatever it may be. Because people should love each other first of all for the beautiful inner world, because all the most beautiful and interesting things are inside, and all this beauty is revealed through communication, not external data. The soul never corresponds to our armor. Someone has a different opinion, but these people just had a moment where they just got used to what they were born with and what they have and continue to live with it, and rightly so. It happens to everyone. Always and everywhere. There are no exceptions. There are no exceptions at all. Only illusions are possible.
I want to believe that in the future there will be a film with the same rare, lively and bright atmosphere as in the film Peter FM. He takes possession of the mind from the first minutes and does not keep in suspense - he just wants to watch, I want to know the end, and then want to continue, but which already remains to draw in his head ...

“Life is unpredictable in general. It's only in the movies, it's scripted.
The movie that changed everything
I’m not sure how many times I’ve watched Peter FM since 2006. But I will never forget the very first view - it was too significant. After sitting for a few minutes in silence after the creeping credits, two thoughts came to mind: I dream of moving to Peter and working in the radio. But to come professionally into the world of microphones, headphones and speakers, you need to become a journalist. That’s how one movie defined my whole life.
This is the story of two young people living today in the most beautiful city in the world. Fate unexpectedly pushes them together, taking into account modern technical conditions. She loses her cell phone and she finds it. Who hasn't happened to you? But few attach importance to fleeting meetings, fateful signs, momentary conversations that can turn your established world upside down.
The action of the picture fits in a few days. At this time, the main characters - Masha (Ekaterina Fedulova) and Maxim (Evgeny Tsyganov) - go about their daily affairs, but each time they come to understand that human relationships are the most difficult thing on earth. Young people endlessly talk to each other on the phone and make all the important decisions on the principle: “If you want to do, do not want to do.” At first glance, this is a rather frivolous way. But if you look at it a little wider than usual, you willy-nilly admit that it is the right one. Despite the ease of the script, the intrigue holds until the end: will they meet or not?
And it's good that the film ends so unexpectedly and somehow unsaid. On this score, you can build dozens of own versions of the development of the plot after the final singing of Boris Grebenshchikov.
By the way, yes, it is worth talking separately about the soundtracks that emphasize and convey the special mood of the film. Thoughtfulness, spontaneity, fun, despair, soulfulness, youth, good-naturedness - all this fit into several correctly selected songs by famous musicians and specially created compositions of the Honored Artist of Russia - Kirill Pirogov. Plus, thanks to Peter FM, I learned about such a wonderful band as Markshader Kunst. This is an important discovery.
It is noteworthy that in the main roles involved little-known actors. And in the episodes, the so-called “cameo”, played by Tatiana Kravchenko (Tatyana Petrovna), Alexander Bashirov (manager), Vladimir Mashkov (man in slippers), Andrei Krasko (man in underwear), Yuri Tsurilo (major general). Such an interesting contrast technique can not but catch the eye in the good sense of the word.
The picture itself is incredibly atmospheric. Spring romance and something lively, genuine, oxygen stretched from the first to the last plot. We must pay tribute to the excellent camera work. The city is so wonderfully and mesmerizingly shown that it becomes one of the main characters of the film and involuntarily falls in love with itself. In addition to the beautiful views of streets and houses, everyone can watch the ordinary locals who accidentally got into the frame and forever remained the personification of the “typical Peter”.
...and later I will learn that Peter FM is the directorial debut of Oksana Bychkova. That she also shot a completely brilliant and deep picture “Plus One”. Most importantly, she graduated from journalism and spent six years in radio. Ironically, no other way. It's so nice to know that. The choice of your future career (and at the same time your life) was the right one. All thanks to the movie alone.
First saw the film 'Plus One', remembered the director. I was on the internet and saddened that this director’s films were so few. I finally got a chance to watch and#39. .'
What can I say? Totally delighted. It is interesting to watch every shot, the whole world flashes before your eyes, and you not only see the most beloved city of the whole country (ask anyone - a huge part of the country for Peter), but also feel its smell, its coolness, its humidity. What's this movie about? About Peter, of course, about love (in all its senses: to the city, architecture, friends, a girl and a young man, people). Yeah, and don't forget the music! You open up a world of interesting music, not just Kirkorov. I want to go somewhere and dance to this music. And so happy when you see human emancipation: someone dancing in the street, someone lets a snake off the roofs, and most importantly, everyone smiles and talks to each other! People see each other and answer questions appropriately, rather than building stone faces, passing someone's outstretched hand or stupid line. Thank you, Bychkova! I hope there are more movies!
An attempt to shoot a good melodrama, oddly enough, was crowned with success, decent (for Russia) box office and positive reviews from critics. At present, after all sorts of “Citadels”, “Presents”, “Zhmurok”, “The Best Films”, “Eggs of Destiny” and other similar heresy, it is difficult to imagine that after the collapse of the USSR in Russia they are able (and generally were able) to make good films. But if you go through the history of cinema, you come across such pictures.
And here is a seemingly ordinary, unremarkable melodrama. But compared to most films that were made before and after, Peter FM feels like a masterpiece. Don’t think I’m saying this movie is bad. Quite the opposite. The film is perfectly shot, without a rattling camera, close-ups and other horror. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes interesting, sometimes boring. But he's unremarkable. Just another love story, only this time without a happy ending.
And yet I don’t remember that this movie was poured dirt and shit like... you know what. Maybe it's because there's nothing to blame him for. Just for nothing, we immediately presented it as a simple and unpretentious love story that looks easy and relaxed. The actors played to the best of their abilities and did not overplay, and superdramatic reincarnations were not required from them. It even seems that each of the actors of the film played himself (except for Vladimir Mashkov, who appeared for a moment, but played as bright as ever), although this is only an assumption. Or maybe because the film missed the very happy ending, without which only the “super heavyweights” of cinema and the final was left open, to warm up interest in the film itself? Or maybe because in the film there is not the slightest hint of politics, banditry, pouring shit on the country and other black people, as well as not all the vulgarity that next year (2007) will be poured on the viewer with a vengeance and will continue to pour to the present time. It's simple, it's as simple as 2 cents, but it's much better than any black woman winning world festivals. And if I was given a choice between Chernukha and Peter FM Oksana Bychkova, I would not hesitate to choose Peter FM, because I was terribly tired of throwing shit on the fan.
Summary
It's hard to scold. It is impossible to scold him elementary because of nothing. Yeah, that's right. If you like simple, unremarkable romantic pictures, then this film is for you. And especially fierce supporters of intellectual cinema, who are looking for hidden meanings in everything, references to social problems, political and antipolitical overtones and other similar techniques, I ask you to bypass Peter FM and never return to it again. Enjoy the rest of the viewing.
